He was outside. Crouching on a rooftop. Syx was familiar with the area and being on a roof wasn’t that strange… but… he didn’t remember coming out here. Maybe he’d… sleep walked? He’d been building something in Evil Lair… Anna had…. tried to get him to come to bed, but he’d been on a roll and wanted to finish. He’d promised to make it up to her later. Likely he’d fallen asleep at the drafting table, it would hardly be the first time that happened.
Still, it hardly explained what was going on currently. Standing Syx stepped back from the ledge. He didn’t feel tired. At all. Bouncing on his toes he marveled at how odd that was. His clothing was odd too… not his normal leather and spandex. Speaking on that… he reached up and touched his head. Small. Hair.
WHAT?!
Jerking in shock and growing panic, Syx spun and dropped to the ground. He made a beeline for the lair. He didn’t know what was going on but he needed Minion NOW!.
Disoriented, it takes Veda somewhat longer to realize what was going on. Finding herself in a completely different space, for one, has the cyborg initially confused. The unfamiliar feeling of fatigue, as well, is cause for concern.
Squinting as if that would relieve the unwelcome feeling, distress doesn’t come immediately. Syx’s entrance in what at first seems like a mirror image of her own appearance merely heightens that confusion, not immediately realizing what’s happened.
Syx had to break in. The security immediately seeing him as an intruder in this strange body, even as he fought to put in the correct deactivation codes. Why had he thought it a good idea to voice automate so much? He shook his arm to try and dislodge an angry brain bot, “Damn it! It’s Daddy! Daddy!”
Looking around the large warehouse for clues, his eyes fall on himself. Pointing at the blue man sitting at his desk, Syx isn’t entirely sure what is going on. It very well could just be another version of himself, but evil gods the person is even wearing his ratty old band t-shirt. Pointing dramatically, a brain bot dangling off his elbow, he shouts, “You! Command them to decease intruder alert!”
