imagine dating an immortal and finding a photo album of their exes who all sort of look like you dating back a century

What if the exes were all previous incarnations of you and the immortal’s been dating all of them in the hopes of getting you to remember your first life when you originally met them.

(( Oooooh I have always loved this idea but TWIST, it’s all the same person, but they look nothing alike. I love reincarnation love plots, but I hate the ‘your always fated to be the same person’ bullshit. What is one life they are a she, the next time they are a man? Or a different race or species? One time they are sassy as fuck, the next soft and broken? Why would they always be the same person again and again? They wouldn’t. 

Different lives, different surroundings. Yet the same soul. How does the immortal deal with that? If they are straight, how do they handle it if their lover is the opposite gender now? Do they still try and date them or do they just try and be friends instead? Can they handle it at all, or does it bother them too much? Soooo many good possibilities. ))
