Syx let his head tip back, body shifting with a soft moan. It was unfair how easily Harrison knew every spot he loved. But then it was just as easy for him to turn that knowledge back on Harrison. Hands sliding around the other man’s shoulders and onto the back of Harrison’s slim neck, Syx bit his lip.

“If we weren’t prone to jumping into things headlong I’d never have built my first giant mech and next to no sleep and a caffeine high,” he chuckled lightly, throat vibrating against Harrison’s lips, “Once the decision is made, what’s the point of delay?”

Harrison smiles softly into Syx’s neck.  He can feel Wayne’s nerves through their link, and oh that blush.  God, it doesn’t matter what they are doing.  There is nothing on earth as beautiful as that blush.  He nuzzles Syx’s neck greedily, enjoying the other man’s hands on his neck.  They’re slim and warm, the rough skin and calluses caressing his sensitive skin.  He’s silently glad Syx shares his impatience; Harrison has never been good at waiting for what he wants. Its nice to know he’s not alone in that desire to rush headlong into his passions.

“We don’t have to jump into anything.  But I don’t see anything wrong with dipping a toe in the water,” he says huskily, soft blue lips ghosting on the taut tendons under Syx’s delectable blue skin as he works his way up to the other blue man’s ear.  He didn’t have any plan other than just seeing how both of them would respond…. but now that he’s started, well, he certainly doesn’t see any reason to stop.

“You take as long as you need for that yes to sink in baby,” he says with a smirk to his husband as his nose brushes Syx’s earlobe teasingly.  He’s happy to put on a little show while his mate gets accustomed to the sight.

[He is all too apt to jumping into things headlong as well, but not everything and jumping into bed with another villain takes some consideration. The very enticing image of two blue men is definitely something to consider heavily as well. Humming, Wayne does his best to cover up the needy note of a whine that slips out. Okay, so he’s not doing so well at hiding his interest. But it’s only when he misses his pancake on the next try, that he has to face the fact that the display is just a little too distracting.]

[Setting down his fork ever so gently, Wayne watches the pair for a moment longer before letting himself drift towards them. He’s not quite sure what to do with himself or them once he is within reach, though.]

Syx’s own nerves about the exact dynamic of how this was going to play out were running high especially as Wayne’s interest became glaringly obvious. As the hero stood, Syx, breathing hard, shifted his grip down to Harrison’s hips. Taking a firm hold he pulled the blue man firmly into his lap and growled, “Just look what you’ve gone and done, he’s all flustered,” he nipped Harrison’s earlobe and smacked his ass, “Go be a good boy and appologize.”

He still wasn’t sure if how he was playing this was quite right, but being in charge of what was happening was by far his comfort zone and it was more in keeping with what had been previously established between the two men and Syx desperately needed that with all the new that was suddenly being thrust at him. New was exciting but also anxiety-inducing. Glancing up at Wayne, to gauge the man’s reaction, Syx squeezed Harrison’s pert little ass as he pulled the man close., ever much enjoying the contact.

Harrison’s direct forwardness drew a blush to Syx’s cheeks as well. One hand lowered over his groin nervously at the mention of naked at the same time. Sipping on his cocoa until the two were down he fidgeted, finally blurting out, “I feel I should add, in case it’s relevant? That I’m not… built?” he bit his lip, forcing out, “…like your husband is. Like humans are. At all.”

“Anyway!” he pressed on, full of nervous energy, “Seeing how it works will be highly essential. Trust being a major factor in all such endeavors,” especially since Harrison was making him sound far more experienced than he was, “Start small and build the anticipation?”

Flashing a wide grin at the pair to cover his own nerves, yet there was excitement building in his eyes as well. The possibilities were endlessly wonderful if this did work out.

“He knows,” Harrison said, taking a step closer to Syx.  He was still holding onto Wayne’s hand, so it had the additional effect of bringing the two men in his life closer together.  “I told him after my first kidnapping.  When you were surprised that I had a cock,” he added teasingly, enjoying the memory of flirting with the villain and getting to know the man.

Impulsively, Harrison takes a step even closer.  Between his link with Wayne and his ability to read Syx, he can tell that both of them were a combination of nervous and interested.  He knew Wayne would love to see him with another blue man, even if they did start slow and vanilla.  Syx’s intentions (and interests) were even more clear.  And since this was his idea, it was only right for him to make the first move.

With Syx sitting at the counter, he was at the perfect height so Harrison began to kiss his way up the other blue man’s neck.

“Does this work?” he asks huskily, his mouth still lingering on Syx’s tendons.  He’s looking his mate in the eye, but the question is directed at both of them.

I am aware and am not repulsed by the idea in the slightest. [Not that he’s going to say as much to Syx, but Sheldon’s Wayne has more concerning equipment than a mere tentacle, even multiple tentacles aren’t as off-putting as the combination of strength and ridges. Tentacles are just fine.]

[Wayne blushes fiercely at the display, but takes a pointed bite of pancake instead of joining them.] Oh, it works just fine. I will say that it would be nice if our discussions of a threesome could once involve a chance to let the ‘yes’ sink in before jumping right into things with both feet.

Syx let out a soft chuckle, cradling his cocoa, “Well that makes two of us. I feel like I’m flying blind.”

The whole relationship thing, in general, was a highly new concept for the blue villain. It hadn’t been so long ago that he’d started seeing his Wayne secretly… and now suddenly it was like a whole unexplored portion of his heart had opened up, hungry to be filled. The need for these connections didn’t, unfortunately, mean that he knew how to handle them.

Looking over to Harrison, Syx let out a breath, “Very little makes sense anymore. I think I need a flow chart and five idea boards just to start to figure things out… but this is nice?” he flashed a small smile, “New, terrifying, and exciting.”

Harrison couldn’t hold back a smile when he saw that delightful blush creep across his mate’s face.  That’s what he wanted to see, his beautiful blushing boy.  His grin only grows at Syx’s response.

“I can’t speak for what either of you want,” he says, still beaming.  “But I know what I want.  I want you,” he says looking up at Wayne from where his is still curled alongside his mate, “and I want you.”  Now he looks up at Syx.  “Preferably naked and at the same time but I’m flexible on the timeline and the details.”

He slipped from under Wayne’s arm to stand in front of his mate.  He doesn’t mind if Syx hears this, but now he needs to talk directly to his husband.

“I love our sex life, I really do.  One of the things I love most about it is that you’ve never tried to force me to be something I’m not.   I love that you let me take the lead in bed.  But I like to sub occasionally, and you don’t know how to dom.  If Syx is willing to show you the ropes, quite literally, I think it would be good for both of us.  Just like with Lady.  I would love to have that chance to explore this with someone of my own species…. but I don’t want to move forward unless you’re on board, baby.  It doesn’t have to be today, just like when we were first starting out.”  He reaches out to lace his fingers in with Wayne’s, showing off his dazzling diamond ring.  His mate has his heart and soul and no sexual encounter is worth hurting the person he loves most.  “You’re worth waiting for.”

[As is often the case, Harrison’s crass and blase way of discussing delicate subjects leaves Wayne just that much more flustered. He rubs the back of his neck and gives his next words a tad more thought than his mate had.] I… am at least interested in trying things once to see how compatible we are all together. As for letting Syx teach me that…

[He squeezes his husband’s hand. The thought of submitting to a Megamind or even obeying one both makes him weak in the knees and at the same time makes him want to fight tooth and nail for the right.] We will have to see if it works.

Harrison’s exposed neck was far too tempting, Syx gave it a small lick as he squeezed the bare thigh in his hands. A shiver of arousal going right to his core and how horribly naughty and tantalizing this all was. His darkened green eyes slid back over towards Wayne, unsure what he’d find there.

The blank mask that covers the hero’s features before Syx can get a read on him, has the villain slightly worried. He wants this fun and he’s getting ridiculously attached to Harrison, but he doesn’t want to cause a fight. Mostly waiting for Harrison for ques on where to take this, Syx removes the hand on the other blue man’s tight to accept the cocoa.

“Exquisite,” Syx purred after taking a sip. Answering Wayne’s earlier question, he added, “Well it’s a concentration trick, isn’t it? And I’ve seen mine do it without his hands before.”

Harrison cocks his head, unsure how to read Wayne’s resistance right now.  Oh he felt that little spike of lust and it was just as the blue man had intended.  However Harrison doesn’t understand why his mate is purposely keeping his expression neutral.  Is it just that flicker of nerves?  Or is it something else?  When Syx moves his hand to return to his cocoa, he slips over to his mate.  He’s made it fairly clear what he and Syx are offering and now he needs to know if Wayne is opposed or just shy.

“Face it, you can’t fool two mega-minds,” he teased his beloved gently, wrapping one arm around Wayne’s waist and nestling himself in close.  He wants to reassure his mate that while he wants to play with the other blue man, Wayne will always come first.  He looks up at his man with a mischievous smile.  “We’re not your usual batch of soft-headed groupies.  We’re blue, bad, and brilliant, my love.  And all yours, if you want us.”

[He smiles softly and nods at the compliment. There is a fine line
between hot enough and messing up the chocolate flavor, but where that
line is is affected by the amount of sugar in it, which means that he
has to estimate for any cocoa other than his own.] It is, but that
doesn’t mean that it couldn’t be one of those gestures that becomes too
ingrained to do without.

[Sticking his tongue out at Harrison,
Wayne makes it clear that he knows that it’s Harrison he can’t fool. He
is all too used to fooling a Megamind, but Harrison is a whole other ballgame. Blushing faintly, he stiffens in Harrison’s embrace for an instant and then forces himself to relax.] I’m… I’m not sure. I’m really not sure what I want out of this.

Syx let out a soft chuckle, cradling his cocoa, “Well that makes two of us. I feel like I’m flying blind.”

Syx drew in a breath of anticipation as Harrison’s hands moved over him, hardly able to help how his body reacted to the potential behind those motions. This was a game, he understood games and enjoyed them. It was only without rules in place he wasn’t sure how far he could go… it wasn’t as fun to break the rules when you didn’t realize you were breaking them. Still…

Pushing it a bit further, the villain shifted in Harrison’s arms, one hand sliding along the man’s inner thigh, “Just as much of a show-off with that temple thing,” he whispered conspiratorily to Harrison, knowing Wayne could hear, before cheering on the hero, “Savior of my cocoa, defender of breakfast.”

Harrison laughed, low and sultry, and flashed Syx a conspiratorial grin.  Oh, he liked that hand on his inner thigh, a move so bold from a  natural dom and more than he’d hoped for when he put on the short flirty black silk robe that morning.  But that was his villain alright, always pushing the limits.

“Able to leap tall shortstacks in a single bound,” Harrison quipped, turning his head to look at Wayne in a way that left his long slim neck temptingly exposed to Syx’s nearby mouth.  Now he just needed to see how his mate would respond to the display of two naughty blue boys such as themselves.  Would he be wary?  Aroused?  Shy?  Harrison couldn’t wait to see.

[Even though he is deliberately not looking at the pair, Wayne is still distinctly aware of the sounds of them touching eachother and is becoming more aware of their increased heart and breathing rates. Normally, all of that is background noise, but he can’t help focusing on the things he isn’t seeing. It’s just cruel.]

How do you know that I don’t have to touch my temple to make it work? [He’s completely bluffing and trying to distract from the obvious issues, but it’s better than letting the blue men make him too flustered. It doesn’t, however, allow him to ignore them forever and he is forced to finally look at them properly once the cocoa is heated thoroughly.]

[The sight that greets him makes Wayne sort of freeze up for a moment, before he slaps a mask into place and slides the cocoa over to Syx. It’s not visible on the outside, but Harrison can undoubtedly feel that he is both aroused and confused and hesitant.] Here you go. Do tell me if it needs to be hotter.

“Laser heated cocoa?” Syx laughed, “Wouldn’t it just burn the cups?” he’d never seen his own Wayne use his lasers for anything that show-offy since their school days.

He leaned into Harrison’s touch, one arm wrapping around the other blue man’s waist, though his eyes slid to Wayne to watch his body language. Relaxing enough to joke, Syx made an innocent face at Wayne, finger to his lips, “Pwetty pwease?”

Harrison laughed.  He knew better than anyone how much his mate liked it when blue boys were naughty.  And since Syx was playing along, he decided to play it up.  Shifting he sensually pressed his body against the other alien, one hand sliding around Syx’s waist to allllmost cup his little blue butt.  With his head still turned to face Wayne, he licks his lips before giving his mate a devilish and seductive grin.  His lips were still dangerously close to Syx’s.

“Please baby?” he says in a husky seductive tone that leaves little to the imagination.  “We’ll try so hard to be good.”

[’Burn the cups’? Either Syx thinks that their cups are super cheap or thinks that he has so little control over his powers. Either way, that means that he has a trick or two to show this Megamind.] Not when you are as good as I am.

[Blushing ever so faintly at the suggestive display, Wayne rolls his eyes at the pair and turns away to focus on the far less hot cocoa. Taking Syx’s cup in one hand, he presses two fingers of his free hand to his temple with a flourish and aims a weak beam into the murky liquid. If he were trying to be less showy, he wouldn’t bother with the temple thing and would stir the cocoa as it heats, but what fun is that in front of a Megamind?]

Syx drew in a breath of anticipation as Harrison’s hands moved over him, hardly able to help how his body reacted to the potential behind those motions. Harrison smiled at Syx.  This was the man he wanted his husband to meet, thoughtful and caring, not the one who was angry and defensive.  They were clearly both sides of the same coin, but Harrison liked this Syx much better.  He could be rough around the edges, but he was honest and straightforward, hell, even when it made him vulnerable.

“Perhaps you can start by calling him Wayne,” he suggested with a grin at the other blue man, then looks to his husband for a response.

He only hopes Wayne can overcome this terrible first impression and see what he sees in Syx.

It’s impossible to miss the hopeful shine in his eyes, looking all the world like a child asking to keep a newfound puppy.

Our Roxanne made similar comments, but only to me in private. I… set
her straight on the matter and she mostly let it drop. And, to my
knowledge, she hasn’t ever said anything like that to Megamind.
[Fighting a blush, Wayne deliberately doesn’t address the prod at his
pride. Not only is he hesitant to admit something like that to his
Megamind, but it would seem rather rude and callous to point out that he
is also concerned with ruining the Game just like this other pair did.
Though, to be fair, his Megamind doesn’t seem to have quite as many
issues.]

[It is nice to know that what he has done for the cit has
probably even had a positive effect on his Megamind as well, even if
they both were without a reference point for it up to that point. It
helps, but Wayne knows that it still doesn’t make up for for basically
forcing John into a life of crime. It doesn’t make up for being a bully.
Still, he gives Syx a nod of acknowledgement.]

[The ‘having room
for more than one Metro Man’ can be taken a couple different ways, but
he opts to take it innocently. Sure, Harrison and Syx have been flirty
and quite interested in eachother, but that doesn’t mean that Syx is
interested in having another Metro Man in a romantic way. Especially
after this.]

[Wayne smiles at his husband for giving such a great
answer.] You could also give me a nickname if it would help separate me
in your mind from your Megamind. It’s why the female Megamind is called
Girly. [He offers weak smile and a shrug.] Beyond that, just treat me
like a person and not a hero.

[He frowns, thinking about exactly
what he just said and then decides to amend his statement.] Well, not
like a hero most of the time.

“Having to constantly go my Wayne and your Wayne is going to get confusing,” Syx pursed his lips, “A nickname? I’m sure I can come up with something.”

He did have a bad habit of nicknaming people, but generally only those he didn’t like, such as the vast majority of the prison guards. But he did have several he used now for Minion and Anna.

Nodding along to what both Harrison and Wayne said, Syx agreed, his lips quirking into a grin, “I can do that. Person unless you’re in costume?”

Aware that they were all out on the balcony, he felt rather like an ass for making such a scene. Chewing on his lower lip he looked back towards the kitchen, “Coco’s probably cold now…”

Harrison was worried that the two would come to blows or perhaps more childish insults but this is much better.  He has never been more proud of his mate than when he is listening to him lay out his life’s work.  This is his husband, the father of his son, the man he’s chosen and he doesn’t regret it for a moment.  He’s cast his lot in with a hero – technically a costumed vigilante – not just because he’s a good man, but because Wayne Michael Scott is probably the best person Harrison has ever known.   There’s no way Syx could miss the soft glow on his face as he looks up adoringly at his beloved.

However his moment of quiet pride is cut short by the way Syx responds.  Oh it’s certainly correct of him to apologize and Harrison is pleased to hear it is a real apology and not a half-assed one.  But it’s also hard to see his strong dominant villain looking so…. small.  And lonely.  He especially hates seeing Syx with his arms around himself, like he’s trying to hug himself or just hold himself together.  It also solidifies Harrison’s impression that Syx’s Metro Man is a jerk.

He steps alongside Syx and puts an arm around his shoulder, rubbing it gently.  “It’s alright, you’re still new here.  It takes some time to learn that even though people might look the same and act very similar, they can also be very different.  Give it time,” he says soothingly.  He licks his lips, waiting to see how Wayne will respond.

[That Syx lets it go and even apologizes is shocking, but he can’t really enjoy the win, not with the guy looking like a kicked puppy. It’s a hollow victory to be right, to derail someone going off half-cocked, and yet somehow end up feeling like you’re still being a bully. It’s not fair.]

[He watches the other man for a long moment, several emotions shifting through him. Satisfaction, irritation, curiosity, bitterness, and eventually Wayne settles for low grade frustration.] Just… just try not to take your issues with that Metro Man out on me again in the future. And, if I were your Metro Man, then we’d would still be continuing the game as it has always been because I’m too afraid to tell my Megamind that I’m interested in him like that.

Unfolding a bit at Harrison’s touch, Syx rubbed his hands over his face roughly, trying to do something with his horrible mix of emotions. He frowned at the hero’s admission, “You’re… married to a blue man and you are still afraid to tell your Megamind you like him?” Syx bit his lip, he had no right to call it stupid considering, “I-it was more an accident than anything that Wayne and I even hooked up. We got in an argument when a battle derailed and… Roxanne made a joke about just kissing already… I’m pretty sure she was the only one of us all that knew. I would never have told him-” he looking away “-either of them. That I loved them. So yeah, I suppose you’re right. It would have turned out about the same in the end.”

Chewing on his bottom lip he added, “Everything you said about what you’ve done for Metrocity… I think I would have ended up a lot less angry at you, though,” It would have been nice to not feel so alone in trying to fix the rotten core of the city. But… this was his city now. This was a Metro Man in this city. Maybe… maybe it would be better?

He offered Wayne a soft tentative smile, “I suppose I have room enough in my life for more than one Metro Man, especially when the package deal makes such good company,” he brought his hand up to cover Harrison’s on his arm, thankful for the calming presence of other blue man he’d become so very fond of, “I have no idea where to go from here? Getting to know you and not Metro Man.”

“Syx,” Harrison sighed, not bothering to hide his irritation.  Gods save him from whatever this was.  Why did he constantly find himself pulled between a Metro Man and a Megamind in their demented pissing contest?  Why couldn’t they just do the things that normal boring people do?

[As frustrated as Harrison clearly feels, Wayne isn’t about to ignore a
clear invitation to set things straight. He’ll likely hear about it
later, but that moment is a ways away and not taunting him in his own
house.]

Firstly, you haven’t the slightest idea what it’s like to live with the Scotts, to be an utter disappointment for being an alien, for being gay, for being a hero. And to then be told by everyone that you have no right to complain because you are living the american dream. But, hey, living in a mansion totally makes up for emotional abuse, right?

But I will admit that being rich gave me a unique perspective on society. I got to see other rich people gloat about their real estate wins and then be the one to have to rescue people out in the cold or arrest people forced into crime all because their homes were torn down or their jobs were destroyed. In that same trend I’ve also heard those same businessmen brag about how little they pay for anything and the deplorable conditions they deem acceptable for their staff. That clearly gives me no perspective on how bad things are around the city.

If one were to do some digging, their are several funds,
scholarships, and donations set up to help people within this city. I
might do plenty publicly, but it doesn’t compare to what is set up
without my name directly attached to it. I invest in businesses who
deserve a chance but would otherwise fail without a bank’s backing.
Businesses like one of Megamind’s uncles opening and maintaining a
restaurant. I make sure to keep places like that as a safe haven for all
walks of life.

I might not destroy buildings that would
otherwise be taken advantage of, but I certainly let Megamind do so.
And, if they aren’t on his list of battle locations, I’ll make sure the
place ends up wrapped up in so much red tape that the building can’t be
touched for years.

I have helped push through the insurance laws to cover people’s homes
from battle damage. I set up the local fund to rebuild battle damaged
buildings.

I have personally and publicly forced the bar
higher on schools across the board, from their funding to their lunches. I build the anti-bully programs.

You want to go on
about all you’ve done and then try to act like I’ve done nothing when
you haven’t even tried seeing anything beyond what your Metro Man hasn’t
done. I will readily admit that many of the things that I’ve done for
this city, with and without my name attached, are either because I
looked back and saw things that were wrong while I was growing up or
because I deal with the problems almost daily and know that issue is on a
bigger scale than I can handle directly.

[He leans in to be on eye level with Syx.] Now tell me again how I don’t care and am unaware what’s wrong with my city.

The self-righteous fury drained out of Syx as Wayne ranted, his face crumpling as he shifted to wrap his arms around himself. It was horrible and masochistic but he would rather have been hit. The fight drained out of him, he just felt bone weary.

“I can see why you love him,” he told Harrison softly. Finally taking a deep breath he murmured, “You aren’t my Wayne. Mine… never put that much thought into… anything…” he struggled to voice, finally meeting Wayne’s eyes, his arms wrapped tightly around himself, “If you’d been mine…” he doubted that the game would have lasted as long as it had. They could have even… worked together? The very thought sparked something deep in his mind even as his thoughts tried to rejected the possibility. It could never work… surely…

“I… was wrong,” he sputtered out, “I’m sorry.”

Harrison abandons his breakfast, and scampers to follow Wayne, a running refrain of ‘shit shit shit’ playing in his head.  As it is, he gets outside just in time to hear Syx bait his husband.

“Okay, that’s enough,” he says, shooting Syx a pointed look.  He doesn’t think Wayne is blameless in this, but he doesn’t like the way Syx is talking to his husband and he’s not going to stand for it in his home.  “Let’s all just talk about this like rational fucking adults.”

[Crossing his arms, Wayne leans against the open balcony door and just smiles thinly at the whiny man-child sulking on his balcony. Behind him, he can feel Harrison’s panic. But clearly neither of them understand quite how he works.]

[Glancing back at his mate, he offers a dark smile and then refocuses on Syx.] I wasn’t going to lay a single finger on him. I was only going to clarify that I am not his Wayne.

Leaning on the railing and crossing his arms, Syx scowled at the floor, “I know that.”

He’d forgotten for a moment, but he did know. The worst part was he could hardly put his mask back on. He was too worked up and the people around him too important. As much as he and Wayne fought, the crux of that matter was that he did care about Wayne’s opinions. Looking back up at the two men, he fought to get control of his whirling emotions.

“Yet outside of the blatantly obvious,” he waved a hand towards Harrison, “I have yet to see any significant improvement over my universes version. So please enlighten me.”
