Truth be told, told, told,
Said you quit, but you still smoke,
You don’t seem old, but now you’re old,
You’ve got wisdom in your soul
And the way you say hello
Just reminded me of home
And (the way you’re standing there)

So gather all the rebels now, we’ll rebel-rouse and sing aloud
We don’t care what they say no way, no way
And we will leave the empty chairs to those who say we can’t sit there
We’re fine all by ourselves
I was born with the wrong sign
In the wrong house
With the wrong ascendancy
I took the wrong road
That led to the wrong tendencies
I was in the wrong place at the wrong time
For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme
On the wrong day of the wrong week
I used the wrong method with the wrong technique

Send 💕 for a drabble about our muses based on the song I am currently listening to
The times that she had been able to spend with Syx had been incredibly fun for Emma, and this night was no different. Opting to go with him to a much different area, into a club where the music pulsed around them, she couldn’t help but smile broadly as the two wove their way through to the dance floor.
Shifting, Emma began to dance, letting her body go free and dance without care of how she looked or how provocative she was being with Syx. The style of her dancing matched the style of the song, grinding up against her newest friend.

Because if we don’t build it who will?
I do things on a shoestring that you couldn’t do for a cool mil
I run with no laces, and when I fall I start to build my Taj Mahal with shit I found at Dollarmart
This life’s our greatest project
The journey’s all an art
But I built my perfect nest, and it’s bout to fall apart
Again and again and then I just make it twice as high
And then I give my tower teeth, and I watch it bite the sky
Because I might just cry if I don’t keep it movin
I focus on what I can make and not what just got ruined
Cause every stone will crumble down to dust, to dust, to dust
And I said love thy neighbor, and I say fuck thy hater
There’s nothing I can’t solve with duct tape and construction paper
I don’t want a Band-Aid on, we rip it off, I’ll rip it off
Got your attention, now I’m gonna keep it, better listen up
This one’s for the people who’ve been told they’re never good enough
The little girls and boys who dream of what they wanna be
The little girls and boys who grow up into you and me
But you and me we’ve got a little secret in our playbook
A little something that’ll really shake the game up
Something for the people who don’t think that you deserve
Now you’ve got a super weapon that can take over the Earth
