Roxanne had to at least admit as fluff pieces went, it could be worse. A local inventor was making headway into robotics with greater practical applications. The city was far more filled with such scientists now to the point that Metro City seemed to be on the verge of becoming thee place for innovation in the field. Buuuut Roxanne hadn’t managed to get an interview with the man himself, just his wife. She tried to burry that disappointment as she knocked on the door. A stay at home mom. What fun. Still, Roxanne was a professional, she put a bright, friendly smile on her face as the door opened.
Having advance notice in order to prepare beforehand, opening the door to what was, to Veda, a more than familiar face this time doesn’t have her immediately nervous. She smiles automatically, hoping the expression looks welcoming. “You didn’t have trouble finding the building, did you?” she asks, tone light while asking.
“Mrs. Sharma?” Roxanne smiled warmly, “And only because GPS is an amazing modern invention,” she laughed lightly as she adjusted her grip on her equipment, “Though not nearly as impressive as what I’m sure you’re used to,” smooooooth segue Roxanne, she groaned internally, “Are you ready for me?”
