Megamind listened from where he was, crammed inside of a hole that was dug by brainbots into the wall. He barely had enough room to breath, but he snorted. He Must be closer then he thought to another cell, “Yeah, good luck with that.”

“I don’t see any- ah! -reason why I should,” Megamind sighed as he finally wiggled his way into the small gap carved into the wall. It at least gave him breathing room.

Magic. It’s what the Doom Syndicate used. He was incredibly leery about trusting it. Even assuming the stranger was playing him straight. Besides, he already had a plan and Minion should be in place waiting for him. His fingers found the hidden cache and he began assembling the small device.

“Fine. Git caugh’. Not m’ faul’.” Emma sighed, looking at the bars on the front of the cell. Typically, the humans didn’t put women in a men’s prison, but they were still debating whether or not to let her in a women’s prison considering she was an animal. A magic animal, nonetheless.

Magic barely existed in this world, so Emma knew this stranger had valid reason not to trust her. But, she hated lying, especially about this, to someone who hadn’t done her any wrong. Her horn lit up, and a ‘shwee’ noise was heard.

Megamind fumbled his device, “the fuck?!” he must be very close to this person’s cell, in their walls even, “Don’t make noise!” he hissed.

The last thing he needed was this annoying person to attract the guards over, “You a damn narc?”

“If, ugh, you can get out so easily, then why are you still here?” Syx nearly popped his arm out of joint as he fought to make room for his large head. Curse his giant blue head, “I’ve been escaping from this prison for three decades. I know what I’m doing.”

The alicorn shrugged. “Dunno. Guess ‘s jus’ too easy fer me.” She rose a brow at is final remark. “Sure don’ sound like it. Jus’ lemme know where ya are.” She had a slight idea to where he was, but she couldn’t really be sure until he mentioned it. “Jus’ lemme help ya.”

“It’s too easy so you haven’t bothered to escape?” Megamind snorted, “Right, I tell you where I am and suddenly I’m surrounded by guards. Fat chance.”

“Who’re you calling kid?” Megamind muttered to himself, wiggling further along his escape route. He just had to get to the junction where he’d meet up with stage 4 of the escape. He only had five more minutes before they’d realize he wasn’t in his cell anymore.

“Guards are smarter and meaner than they look,” he warned his fellow inmate. They sounded green.

Emma rose a brow. “I have magic. Where are ya? I’ll help ya.” She knew that he’d probably had a huge elaborate plan, when all she needed was a place to teleport to. Knowing Metro City, Emma just wanted someone to hang out with.

“I can get ya outta here.” She knew this person was younger than her.

“Believe me, kid, M’ gonna do it. Dey put a sock on m’ horn, but dey’re stupid t’ think dat’ll stop me.” She didn’t care who she was talking to, she just needed to get this off of her scarred chest.
