Syx wasn’t much for seduction. Not that he didn’t understand it, but the first approach felt nearly impossible. So he fell back to what he always did to get another’s attention. He built a thing. In this case a floating bot, dark metal and trailing gossamer ribbons like a decorative tail. It hovered and spun in an odd little dance around the brooding man that had caught Syx’s eye.

“And what do we have here?” Zagam’s eyes widened in surprise, first wary, to see a strange artefact floating around him, but relaxed immediatly when noticed it was just trying to call his attention, thing that did succesfully. His gaze soon moved towards the blue man that for one second he thoug might be Mr. Drake. It wasn’t him, of course. The colony was not the same neither the energy. Another blue man?
Zagam flashed him a charming smile leaning forward on his chair, there is the resting area of the exhibition. “Pretty artefact you have here. Is it yours?” He asks with playfully interest.

Sucking in a breath Syx became over animated as he moved to cover his nerves. Never show fear. Far better to act like you know what you’re getting into. Moving purposefully forward again, he shrugged, “The Doom Syndicate fought one once to my knowledge.”

“Oh? the Doom Syndicate? are they Hunters?” he asks interested. in case he has some future entertaiment. As demon, he hates hunters.. “Are you friend of them? what happened with the demon?” he just continued asking more and more interested for the other dimension.

Syx licked his lips, gauging how to answer, “Not friends no, we’re rivals really. It’s the gang Psycho Delic runs. It’s a joke if you ask me, but don’t piss off the fire bitches unless you like to be ‘well done’. The hell cat daughter of his doesn’t take a joke well and Hot Flash just thinks burning things is fun,” he shrugged again, not bothered about potentiality causing them trouble, “Only heard second hand, but they drove one off a few years ago.”

“I’ve only begun to look into it myself, but it would be a poor kept secret to say that Metrocity isn’t nearly pulling itself apart at the seems. Have you even looked at it?” Syx shook his head, “Duplicates of powerful and unique individuals, more magic and supernatural forces… This is nothing like my version of Metrocity. It appears to be pulling things in. I don’t have a separate city anymore,” he waved his hands around them, “My city was warped into this. One day I was just running into strange anomalies and odd readings. The next entire sections of the city had changed and I ran into an alternate version of myself!”

“That sounds terrible creepy. Your spiece is destroying our dimension?” he asks a little amused. Not finding any way to be worried for the human race. -”Dear. I’m a demon. My world its in a different plane and for the moment nothing and anything anormal happened there since…..the era of the dinosaurs. “ He waves ahand freely to the air but then he suddenly remembers…- “I have a friend, she comes from another dimension too. Are demons attacking yours?” he asks just to be sure it isnt the same as Emma..

Syx slowed to a halt, blinking owlishly at Zagam, “Demons…? You jest surely…”

He’d only heard tales of demons from Hot Flash… never met one. He’d thought he’d know… and this one new Harrison… this was the demon Harrison was afraid of?

Oh SHIT! Syx’s face paled, the hologram mimicking it.

Zagam drew a long slight smile over his lips and stared distracted to him, suddenly waving his long tail from behind his back. if the man was not feeling comfortable he didnt notice yet…

“Yes. devil to be more precise. “ he bows lightly a little amused for his change of tone. First talks so fluid and well and now he was mumbling. “So? Any presence of demons in your dimension? Would be fun to know.”

Syx shrugged, “It’s hard to lose old habits. It wasn’t so long ago that being blue in public meant that every pig in the area would point a gun at me,” he stuffed his hands in his pockets as they walked, “And not mine as in he’s not married to my Metro Man. The whole multi-verse thing just makes things confusing and complicated. Though for some reason there the vast majority of the duplicates seem to revolve around me or people close to me. I can only conclude that it must be my fault somehow, being the hyper-intelligent alien with a habit of making things that defy human science. A version of me likely caused this at some point. But it’s impossible to ever really know,” he was admitting a lot, but nothing that wasn’t easily found out or assumed. So he wouldn’t worry about it.

“Multi verses I think I heard about it before but never a whole full explanation. I hope you can enlight me with that. There are many of you and one of them caused you to land here, where one of you already exist? Would that turn you into a Doppelganger?  That’s quiet dangerous specially inside a dimension you shouldn’t exist… The other Wayne comes from your place too? then might affect others besides your own species?” Zagam followed calmly and even if his questions were just for curiosity that didn’t make him wonder if Belle was actually Bruce clone and not a sister like she seems to call herself.

“I’ve only begun to look into it myself, but it would be a poor kept secret to say that Metrocity isn’t nearly pulling itself apart at the seems. Syx beamed at the reaction and did a little spin, “That’s the whole point, blend in and not be noticed. Just don’t mess with the afro, it’s not real.”

He was much calmer now that he wouldn’t be drawing attention for being blue. Looking around to orientate himself he tipped his head towards the heart of the city and where he’d noticed what he assumed was the museum, “His mate? I’m going to assume you met Harrison’s husband then. I know he’s mated to a Metro Man. Just not mine. And yeah the sheeple are constantly showering the dolt with gifts and praise. I swear he couldn’t do anything wrong if he tried,” he rolled his eyes and blew out a breath, “It’s obnoxious. Not really his fault though.”

“But your blue skin was so pretty. I doubt you have to worry too much about it. You’re not the first blue pretty man I see.” – he breathes a short chuckle and waves his tail. Delighted by the new image but missing the other one.

“You know harrison too? Well. Harrison was nice, as much as he could, with me, due his situation and Wayne… he, like I said before, tried..” Zagam shrugs lightly remembering the interrogatory that ended in disaster. “What do you mean with not yours?” suddenly Syx was speaking strange and he couldnt follor completly. Was he assuring that there are two waynes?

Syx shrugged, “It’s hard to lose old habits. “Surely you’ve at least heard of Metro Man?” Syx raised an eyebrow at Zagam, “The city’s shining heroic defendor? They have statues of him and everything,” he snorted. Wayne was gorgeous but Syx was forever grumpy about the universal praise the sheep of the city heaped upon the man.

“I must admit I’ve been curious about the museum myself…” Syx trailed off and bit his lip, “But I couldn’t go like this. I can fix that though,” making the decision to show off he winked and twisted his watch face. A shimmer of blue light covering him before he was replaced with a human visage of a dark skinned man with a similar goatee but sporting a wild mane of black hair that took up about the same space his large dome did.

“Metro man!” Zagam straightened and moved his hand away from Syx’s shoulder, then with the same he tapped his chin.. “yes.. well. He and I had a little misunderstanding. He really doesnt like much my type of people. “ he raised his shoulders in a shrug. “About heroic. I just saw him protecting his mate, never saw him in action.” waving his tail with elegance he brushes his hair back behind his shoulders, curving his lips into a smirk. “ Sorry. I consider statues as a way or arrogance, of course Im sure that those are presents from the people. still I think Metro man is nice but with a dry personality.”

The new change in the man made the devil step back, glaring with amusement and the new aspect. Was shapeshifting?… no. he didn’t detected any source of magic or power. “Another toy?” He asks and reached to tap the man’s chin with a finger…”Looks so real!”

Syx waved a hand dismissively, “It’d only be the old broken stuff in there anyway.”

Shifting nervously Syx glanced around them, hyper aware of any attention his blue skin might be attracting. Biting his lip he glanced back up at the man, “I’m Syx Blue, my name that is,” he felt so awkward but he forced himself to stand straighter, “Yours?”

“The muscle bond??” Zagam tilted his head back and smiled full of amusement. – “You are planting the seed of curiosity on me, well you say things that for me yet don’t mean anything.”

He neither heard those names before but the man seemed very uncomfortable. What perfect chance to get a pass for an exciting day. “ Don’t be so nervous I’m sure there are scary things around but you just look lovely. “ he approached and without shame placed a hand around Syx woulder. “Syx Blue, pretty name. I’m Zagam Maximus and I’m sure we can go to a place where you are less uncomfortable. Still you will have to show me your broken toys not that you mentioned them, Im a curious creature.”

The little bot twirled and bobbed, the A.I. was simple but Syx always made his bots playful and the little creation enjoyed the attention.

Syx laughed awkwardly, “If I brought out any of my larger creations I’m afraid it would shut down the block and draw unwanted attention,” he rocked on his heels, “Quite a bit of my old stuff has been collected over the years, I believe I heard they were going to make a museum?”

He frowned lightly, “I think the museum might already exist now…” though it was likely filled with a different Megamind’s work, he was still struggling to fully wrap his head around the multiverse thing.

“A museum you say? Honestly I never visited one, yes saw one from the outside but didn’t call my attention, if you tell me that I can see pretty creations like this one then I’m sure i can give a chance.” He moved his hand away from the bot for now and approached to the blue man. “And how you say is the Museum’s name?”

He was twitching to turn his watch on, not that anyone seemed to care about him being blue, “Normally the things I make are… on a much grandeur scale,” he did like showing off though, lived for it really.

Zagam tried to reach for the small bot to caress the border with a fonger still curious for the materials it was made of, his attention was also on the blue man who face blushed in a funny purple tone. He likes when people does that for a simple comment.

“Do you have those  here exposed? If they are as amazing as this one here I pretty much would love to see them”

The little bot bounced and bobbled and flew back to Syx, the blue alien trailing his fingers over the long ribbons, “I built it, yes.”

Now that he had the man’s attention he wasn’t entirely sure what to do with it. This whole going out at meeting people thing was horribly awkward. Still. things were changing. He’d dressed down in just his studded biker leather and tall boots. His blue skin no longer was the oddity it once had been so he’d forgone any kind of disguise generator.

“Very impressive. Never saw an artefact like this. Excuse my ignorance, I barely move from laptops and cellphones. What is it? Does it has any special use besides look pretty.” Zagam whle ask took a nice look of the blue man, mostly for like the leather attire and black boots. Pretty style for a slim man-

“Mostly it’s a toy,” Syx reached out and grabbed the small bot, it tucked itself into a ball about the size of a softball. Syx threw it as hard and fast as he could into the air. The ribbons trailing behind like a comment’s tail. At the top of the arc, the bot unfolded and spun gracefully down. Fluttering around in enjoyment of the game. As it descended it spit out sparks and did a little light show, “So mostly just pretty, yes.”

Zagam observed with attention his eyes behind the ball, following without problem, chuckling he denied with the head and smiled back to the blue man. “So, you like to play with toys” it was not a question, zagam arched his eyebrow and smiled broadly at him.-

“Are you part of the artists here or you just pass by to show you have better creations?” his honest question and calm tone made notice he was asking seriously.

Syx blushed at that, “I would call them toys but I doubt the city does,” he looked out around them, it still made him nervous being out without being disguised.
