Syx wasn’t much for seduction. Not that he didn’t understand it, but the first approach felt nearly impossible. So he fell back to what he always did to get another’s attention. He built a thing. In this case a floating bot, dark metal and trailing gossamer ribbons like a decorative tail. It hovered and spun in an odd little dance around the brooding man that had caught Syx’s eye.

“And what do we have here?” Zagam’s eyes widened in surprise, first wary, to see a strange artefact floating around him, but relaxed immediatly when noticed it was just trying to call his attention, thing that did succesfully. His gaze soon moved towards the blue man that for one second he thoug might be Mr. Drake. It wasn’t him, of course. The colony was not the same neither the energy. Another blue man?
Zagam flashed him a charming smile leaning forward on his chair, there is the resting area of the exhibition. “Pretty artefact you have here. Is it yours?” He asks with playfully interest.

As they walked, the reached a section of large photos. Scenes from battles caught on camera and blown up images of him in his various costumes over the years. He and Metro Man had always had a bit of a fashion war going on, always trying to out due the other between general costume changes and special occasion outfits.

“I’m always curious. So your looking like this is the same as my disguise? Just something to make others more comfortable?” Syx raised a brow, “Salty food? How salty. I mean salt is a mandatory dietary need for all mammals, do you just need a higher sodium intake?”

-”I never tried to make others feel comfortable, not with strangers at least. I could be walking in the middle of an Avenue, wearing my real shape, but honestly, some of my parts make my walking a little troublesome, carrying more weight.” He shrugs lightly, keeping his eyes on the pictures that hang front of him. Some of them, hilarious, others, with very evident planned poses. They seemed to be dancing and not fighting. How odd. –

“Mmmm, you sometimes speaks so funny.” Zagam observed, turning to look back to Syx. Smiling softly and absorbing his definition for Salty diets. “There is another explanation. You won’t add salt to a cake. I have to, and yes, maybe a little more salty than a common human diet.”

“Hard to walk? So… you actually change shape then? It’s not just an illusion like mine,” Syx hummed in thought, “How does that work?”

“Actually you do,” Syx corrected, “I’ve watched Minion plenty of times before he kicked me out of the kitchen. Cakes normally have…” he squinted his eyes as he looked for the memory, “About a small spoon of salt in them.”

“Normally there would be lots of screaming or shouting,” or at the very least nervous looks. Now he only seemed to get them when he was in full villainous wardrobe. It was still taking some getting used to. Syx stuffed his hands in his pockets, a soft smile playing across his face as Harrison was mentioned, recalling his pleasurable meeting with the other blue man. The other part, though, “You have other shapes?”

At the suggestion of coming over for Minion’s baking, Syx blinked. Would he want that? Yes… that might be very nice indeed, “If you do… I am under standing orders from Minion to inquire as to any dietary needs you have.”

.The devil smiles broadly as he elegantly steps closer to Syx, in a way they could keep moving to see the rest of the strange but magnificent exposition. “Yes. I have other shapes. Are you curious?” He doesn’t mind show it. He is really open with people. Especially when he doesn’t sense an evil trait. Syx could be a villain but Zagam doesn’t smell on him that desire of blood or betray.

“My dietary needs?….Salty food” he replies without think much about it.

“Used to talk to people without being concerned to be arrested or something?” he asks smiling. Poor man. so stressed.” I would love to meet Minion some day. especially if he can bake.” Zagam winks at Syx before look forward to the machines.

“You’ll get used with the time. I’m sure you won’t need a disguise either. I’m not always wearing a human shape. I’m more comfortable with my real self but people don’t find demons, trust. I can’t blame them. You for the other hand, look like Mr. Drake. a man that did much for this City. You will be fine”

“There better company than most of the idiots in this city,” Syx said with the same air as someone who owns and loves far too many cats. Letting the conversation fall to Minion, Syx hesitated, not sure how open he should be with this stranger… but the conversation was nice and Zagam seemed genuinely interested in everything… so…

“It’s complicated… he’s family. My best friend. He’s also my guardian and caregiver. But he also acts as my henchmen. It rather defies being locked into a standard human relationship definition,” Syx shrugged, it’s just the way we’ve always been, from the first day he was handed to me.”

“Oh..” It is true not all the aliens loves humanity and considering Syx intellect, he is sure that humans are considered goofy creatures. At least those who don’t carry a sentiment under the blue man’s eyes-

He approaches at him again but keeps his attention in the exposition. -“He seems to be very important to you and when you can’t put it a label then  a half brother sounds fine too. Because like one they are close even if is not blood related”. “Do you love him?”

“Of course. He’s family. How could I not love him?” Syx looked up at Zagam unsure where this line of questioning was going. Minion was beyond precious to him; if anything ever happened to Minion… Syx wasn’t sure he could survive it.

“That’s nice. where is he now?” With all the portal thing he won’t like ot hear that he left him in the other side. But seeing Syx alone and speak about him like in distance, then might be the case. -”Im sorry if it’s a little too private. We can talk about anything else”

Syx looked over his various creations in an array of destruction, letting slip, “Besides it’s easy to make them when they are made to be destroyed.”

“I wouldn’t consider brain-bots as a relevant company but yes… Minion, you say?” He asked with his expression, arching his left eyebrow slightly as he turned to a side to look back to Syx. That name sounds more like servant or slave to him. But for Syx might have another kind of weight.

“Who is Minion by the way? Friend? Family? Is he handsome like you?” his last question was followed by a short chuckle but again turns to look at Syx, or better, Megamind weapons.

Syx couldn’t help but bark out a laugh before covering his mouth, “Oh I hid something inside of it!” the hollow center of it had proved to be a fun hidden place for a quick tryst with his nemesis in the middle of battle. The danger of being caught had made it all the more thrilling, “The horn was the point of an EMP that disrupted the surrounding electrical devices that weren’t properly insulated. I piloted it from the top but it had it’s own onboard A.I. as well. A true A.I. unlike the Brain Bots which are actually cyborgs.”

Oh, he was doing it again. This was the problem he always had with Roxanne, having too much fun talking about his inventions and showing them off. But this wasn’t breaking villain rules, these were already used after all and he wasn’t in threat of getting blindsided or thwarted.

“That one had worked out rather magnificently if I do say so myself,” the servers for the First Bank of Metro City that had been in range had never caught onto just how many of their records he’d had altered while they were trying to restore their systems. He’d made out quite handsomely ass while getting his ‘ass kicked’ by the hero once again.

Syx expression totally catches zagam’s attention, that soon draws a slight smile over his thin lips, Glaring to the blue man with soft amusement. Whatever he was trying or not to kick that information and replace it by technical details, the devil might have an idea of what he was really thinking. after all, mortals have so many addictions.

-”you seems to admire pretty much this one in particular. Glad to see that your inventions leaded to have good memories.” – Zagam decides to not ask about his private thoughts, giving some steps forward to observe the rest of the inventions. “You always worked alone? seems to bee lot of work for just one person”- the question came when he was observing a huge panel with apparently some codes he couldnt read.

“Never alone. I did tell you I have a legion of Brain Bots,” Syx arched an eyebrow, “But no, I could never do all of this without Minion. He’s… my companion. We’ve always been together,” it was hard to even describe what Minion was to him. His fish was everything. Minion was home.

Without even turning, Syx knew just what Zagam had seen, “Nooooooo it’s not a unicorn. It’s the Equestrinator! That spike is bigger than the others for balance,” his voice was that of someone who’d had to repeat that far too many times.

Truth be told, he was very aware of what he’d built and that was half the fun. Shouting puns and hidden jokes back and forth with Metro Man and Miss Ritchi. It had only gotten better when she’d realized that it was a joke. He’d miss it when it was all gone. The large creations around him filling him with nostalgia for an ending era.

With the museum almost empty and the high ceilings and crystal walls, Syx’s voice sounded like an echo, making Zagam cover his mouth to not chuckle The name! it was simply more fun than the unicorn word. He felt like if he touched a nerve but neither considered Syx upset about it, just thoughtful. –

-”And what does the..,.Equestrinator? do exactly? Its just to ride it?” or maybe catches thunders. “A troy horse? Do you hide brainbots inside?”-

“Earth has never had immortal armies…” Syx trailed off with a slight frown, “Which is a good thing in my opinion. Though what you just described is why I use brain bots. I can have thousands and not need to feed them. They only need to be recharged occasionally.”

“Yes it’s a good thing,” he checked the map again, “This way.”

Turning he wove easily through the crowds, holding out his stolen ticket. He wasn’t going to pay to get in to see his own inventions. Leading the way to his wing, Syx stopped and stared. With a bark of laughter, he gave a whoop and jogged over pointing, “Either they actually do have my stuff in here of it identical enough not to matter!”

He stopped before a massive robotic husk that filled an entire wall. The bot was in a kneeling position and had been stripped of all deadly weaponry by a brain bot team before it had been recovered by humans, but it was still an impressive sight in Megamind’s opinion. Standing it would have been over 20ft, covered in spikes and wielded dual flamethrowers. It still had the dents from the battle with Metro Man covering it.

True, but it would be also entertaining for demon to battle immortals in earth. He saved that thought to himself and followed Syx all the way to the Megamind’s section, stopping briefly front each small description or information he could find. Soon the enormeous image of a giant appeared from him, indeed, surprising him. Could be considered a good match for a rock demon, a goliat or a Leviathan. “Impressive your Titan of Iron!” he exclamed and approached to it, wondering how he makes it work. It was not moving…The devil titled his head and looked back to Syx. Knowing absoluty nothing about advanced technology- “Is not moving. Does not he recognize its creator? ” well. The machine seems not care that Syx was there….

“Is that an Unicorn?” the devil pointed behind Syx. blinking..

“Oh I stripped the power core out of it after the battle, it’s deactivated. It was a good fight, though,” Syx sighed with a happy grin, “I would take a lot of work to make this one come back to life again. It’s mostly just scrap-metal and memories now.”
