Syx wasn’t much for seduction. Not that he didn’t understand it, but the first approach felt nearly impossible. So he fell back to what he always did to get another’s attention. He built a thing. In this case a floating bot, dark metal and trailing gossamer ribbons like a decorative tail. It hovered and spun in an odd little dance around the brooding man that had caught Syx’s eye.

“And what do we have here?” Zagam’s eyes widened in surprise, first wary, to see a strange artefact floating around him, but relaxed immediatly when noticed it was just trying to call his attention, thing that did succesfully. His gaze soon moved towards the blue man that for one second he thoug might be Mr. Drake. It wasn’t him, of course. The colony was not the same neither the energy. Another blue man?
Zagam flashed him a charming smile leaning forward on his chair, there is the resting area of the exhibition. “Pretty artefact you have here. Is it yours?” He asks with playfully interest.

“Like the watch? They’re different of course, the watch is hard-light projection, combined with the invisibility field that I use on the car. My security on Evil Lair is just a normal hologram that hides the physical door. I’ll leave it open for you, otherwise, you’d never get through the bio-scan,” Syx rattled off then gave him a wry smile, “I’ll have to call the Brain Bots off and reset their protocol after you get there. It requires a bio-scan. Just watch out for the teeth, they’re rather playful.”

“I will pretend I understood everything you said, dear. and not that you porpousely speak weird to make me feel bad and confused.” Okey, indeed it was somehow rude.Zagam thought, glaring at Syx with his eyebrow up. But he smiles anyway and steps forward.

-” Teeth. just like my demon gods. I think that its the only part I might enjoy. “

Syx bit his lip as Zagam said that, oh enjoying biting could have wonderful connotations. His eyes darkened a but despite how he tried to keep his mind from wandering to other thoughts, “I might enjoy that too.”

“Ah, I mean…” he looked away, looked up at the devil, “See you then,” a small smile playing at the corner of his lip, “And I seem to have that affect on everyone. The confusion.”

“See you then, blue boy” Zagam winks at Syx, drawing a playfully *innocent* smile.

“And don’t worry about the confusion, you will have time to explain me later.” he teases and walks forward, already planning to leave to attend other business. Indeed and interesting meeting.

An old fire station,” he gave the street address, “It’s covered in graffiti, but the wall you’re looking for will be marked with a sideways blue six and ‘go away’,” he narrowed his eyes, “I’ll put out the entrance mat too… the door is holographically camouflaged.”

-”I’m sorry I think I missed a detail. Did you say Holographically?” he smiles and glares a questioning look at Syx. to find the district and the address was not a problem but the words were new to him and he doesn’t walk through walls unles she has to break them.

Syx bit his lip, if he brought this man to the Evil Lair he’d need to run it by Anna and Minion first. It would be easier in a more neutral location… maybe at one of the secondary lairs. He’d just need a bit to have one freshened up a bit from its disuse as anything other than storage. But the one he had in mind was fairly well stocked for emergency use.

Making a mental note of what he’d need to have the Brain Bots do in prep, Syx told the devil before him to location. This way he wasn’t giving out his main home… just in case. Looking at Zagam with a more appreciative eye as he got used to the gothic horned angle look, he hummed, “Next Friday evening? Dinner and I’ll show you my toy collection,” he said mostly referring to his stored bots and inventions, “Deal?”

The devil tilted his head and raised his left eyebrow, observing how Syx began to think hardly about his past offer. There is a huge chance he just plans to take it back, regreting the invitation after discover his true nature. Which is understandable….

“Syx…” he thought in tell him that they can leave it for the next time but the blue alien already fixed a date. He smiles softly and nods once with the head. – “Would be nice, yes. I’ll see you on friday. and one advice, don’t use the *deal* word with other demons. might be a little troublesome.” he chuckles  lightly. “where we shall meet?”

Syx rubbed his hands over his face, “I highly doubt that’s what they will think. Metrocity’s cops in my experience are horrible racists.”

This whole situation was to beyond his control and it was getting horribly stressful. Syx preferred to go into the unknown armed to the teeth. As it was he was twitchy, every shout or scream hand his hand resting on the handle of his de-gun.

Trying to keep a calm outward demeanor, Syx eyed the odd man beside him, getting used to the changed appearance, “Toto, is it? I am rather fond of dogs and those horns could hardly be more dangerous than petting my brain bots’ around their spikes.”

-”Really? I never got any negative trait with them.” he shrugged and to be honest he never faced one. All the times he exposed his appearance, never, no one approached to show racism.

The devil breathes a short chuckle, turning to look back at his new company. “Trust me, these have many uses in the mortal world, none unpleasant.” and yes, could be compared to spikes.

“Changing the topic, then I accept your polite invitation. tell me when and where.” He stops close one of the last exhibitions to face the blue man. Smiling fond to him.

Still, he moved a bit closer to the devil. He didn’t have the same trust that Zagam did that the cops wouldn’t just open fire when they showed up, “If I’m Dorthy, what does that make you? Glinda?”

“I’m the always happy Toto, you can pet me anytime” he teased and kept walking, enjoying now the blue man appearance. “See, now they will see a Megamind and they will not shot us.  Assuming you are with Mr. Drake and u are another millionaire with taste for suits.

Moving along beside Zagam, he continued, “I normally don’t go into a fight with Metro Man unless I’m prepared. I’m hardly a match for him without my tech,” he admitted as he waved a hand at all the destroyed robots on display, “Even the idiot cops I won’t fight without backup. That’s why I built so many bots. One on one? I’ll win easily. I can’t fight even five at once, though. I’m not super human, just intelligent.”

And part of being smart was knowing when to run away.

“I’m correct in guessing those are limitations that a leader of hell armies doesn’t have when faced with normal humans?” the blue man surmised, “If you get me arrested for your amusement, I won’t forgive you,” he warned.

“please! and stop a handsome officer to check me all.” he smiled playfully but kicked the smile. “Don0t be so dramatic. The police would run away just to see me. and you are with me now. As Zagam stepped back, Syx licked his dry lips, “Wings? So you can fly then?” shoulders back he masked his uncertainty and fear at what he’d gotten himself into, “I see what you mean about seamless transformation.”

He looked around them for the reaction of the idiot sheeple of the city, it was strange to him to not be the focus of the hushed gasps and stares as they tried to work out an appropriate reaction to what they’d seen. He was fairly certain the screaming would start soon.

“Well if we want to avoid Metro Man,” Syx cringed, “We’d best be leaving now.”

“Avoid Metro man? Why? “ he bats his eyelashes at Syx. “He is a busy man and won’t doubt in dismissing the call for help when the creature in the museum is a familiar face. I know him.  “ he waved a hand like if it was a silly idea run away just for some surprised face. Zagam glared at the humans and with the tip of his fingers throw kisses of air to them. “Hi pretties” The devil winked and continued his walk along the long halls of the Museum.

“I mentioned I know Harrison and also Wayne. So ignore them. They will get bored soon or late.”  he raised his hand toward Syx, silky smile, inviting him to join him to see the rest.

Syx hesitated, batting his side for his de-gun to assure himself, “Metro Man might show up first but the cops always come afterward. I really have no intention of going to jail today. I have plans.”

Walking to the next part of the exhibit. It featured a large statue of Metro Man holding him up by the neck. The blue man cringed at the sight of it. Returning to the earlier part of the conversation he tipped his head, “What sort of parts do you have that don’t fit into standard clothing? Are you… like a werewolf or something? Or… wait you said devil. You don’t mean the whole hoofed foot thing is right, do you? I always figured that was as fictitious as unicorns.”

Zagam breaks in a burst of laugh. After the moment of silence, he thought Syx was not gonna ask about his real shape again. But it seems he was wrong. “Can’t distract a cerebral mind. can’t I?” he teases, smiling mischief at him. “That curious you are, my little blue man?” – He smiles broadly and approaches at him with elegant steps until he was to just one of distance. Hand up to lay under the alien chin, now in a pitch black tone, with long sharp claws as nails. A black veil  began to raise behind his back,  stretching to both sides with dark feathers. His wings raised high and descended until touched the floor, joining to his tail that waved from left to right with amusement. “Careful with what you ask to a devil. We are not cheap and any request could come with an extra bill” – The devil of red eyes grinned and soon his goat twisted horns came out from both sides of his head. “I owe you the goat legs, Sweety. I really like this pants. I will show you when I’m more free and maybe in private” he steps back and winks at him.

“Actually you do,” Syx corrected, “I’ve watched Minion plenty of times before he kicked me out of the kitchen. Cakes normally have…” he squinted his eyes as he looked for the memory, “About a small spoon of salt in them.”

“Yes. human clothes don’t fit me well and the idea of walk exposed doesn’t fall into the mortal daily routine. They are a little picky when their eyes lay on you.” His lips formed a delicate grin, that could be more taken as a tease. “And no illusions, no. it works…..shapeshifting? my skin shape changes so fast that it’s almost imperceptible to the human eye.” Zagam shrugs, unable to form a more scientist explanation to describe the devils abilities.

“Haha, a spoon during the cooking. that’s just to help the ingredients to merge. Nothing has to do with chance the flavor of the cream into a salty cream. Would you add salt to your ice cream after served or salt to a simple coffee? “ he tilts his head aside to the question, fixing his eyes on Syx’s-
