“Ha! Well what are you waiting for then?” Megamind gave the Crimson Fucker the come at me fingers from the piolet seat of the Spider Bot, “Come on an hit me if you’re able.”

Crawling put of the wrecked bot Syx took the time to wave his Brain Bots to make sure Lyn really did leave. Turning then to focus on the strange creature before him, Syx raised a cautious hand. Those glowing blue eyes… so much like Anna’s… “Thank you?”

Ears shifting on the wolf’s head, it looked up to him at his words, though still kept its head lower than Syx’s. It didn’t flinch at his raising hand, didn’t snarl, didn’t give any indication of a warning at his gesture. 

It shifted forward, closer to him, making a soft noise in the back of its throat, the sound almost a soft whining bark, one that was eager for his attention and acceptance. 

He’d always loved dogs, it’s why he’d used them as a base for his brain bots. That soft whine brought his hands to the wolf’s head. Stroking the thick black fur and scratching it behind the ears his voice softened, “Ah you’re just a good big doggie. Saving me from that horrible cat.”

With a sigh of exhausted relief, he sagged against the large beast, pressing his nose into the fur of its neck. It smelled… like home. Like the Lair. Like his mate. Syx found himself nuzzling into her fur automatically.

“Ha! Well what are you waiting for then?” Megamind gave the Crimson Fucker the come at me fingers from the piolet seat of the Spider Bot, “Come on an hit me if you’re able.”

The wind getting knocked out of him in the fall, Syx hit the panic button on the consul. A cloud of brain bot swarmed from their hiding places and swept into the area with the mission of *get Daddy to safety* and set about getting Syx out of the wrecked bot and trying to distract the shadows that were obviously a threat to the mission.

Struggling to train the now sideways gun at the fiery hell cat, Syx almost missed Anna’s entrance. He whipped his head around in time to see a large black furred creature leaping between him and his attacker, “Wha- ?”

The black beast was just off to the side, enough so that Syx could see a single glowing blue eye. The beasts teeth were bared in an angry snarl, its lips raised in an aggressive threat display with its clawed hands on either side, prepared to fight.. 

“Tha fuck!?” Lyn swore, the shadow demons dissipating to nothing with the loss of concentration. Taking a step back, Lyn’s eyes narrowed, looking from the wolf to Syx, then back again. “..Ya fuck with me again, douche boy, yer gonna hope yer pet isn’t with ya,” She snapped, turning to walk off. 

Anna didn’t follow the hell cat, turning to look at Syx.. and immediately the aggression leaked off her, her ears relaxing on her head, her shoulders slumping as she lowered herself to the ground, ducking her head just a touch.. all displays of submission.

“OH SHIT!” twisting wildly around Megamind spun the canon to aim at her again, firing off a shot before, he became aware of his other problem. The spider bot stuttered under him, staggering to the side as its joints began to give under the claws, “The fuCK IS THAT? THE FUCK ARE THOSE?!”

Spinning the controls, he tried to shake the shadows off, cursing his stupid mouth and this stupid cat and this stupid everything. His heart hammering in his ears and moved the bot farther from the fire.

Lyn didn’t care about the extra glob of glue, the horrid stench of it permeating the area now. Burning through it at a rapid pace, her shadow demons continued to rip and tear at the mechanics, clawing and biting into it to stay on even as Syx tried to shake them off. When one fell off, it merely attacked again.. 

Lyn had just emerged from the glue as the spider bot’s limbs gave out, the ground shaking with the weight of it crashing to the ground. Snarling, the feline began to stalk forward, intending to make sure Syx remembered who he was fucking with, when a female’s voice shouted out. 

“Syx!!” Anna had came into view just as the bot crashed down, her eyes wide with horror, fear racing through her.. and when she saw the shadowy beasts that came racing around to the glass area where Syx was, she let out another sound… except this one was one of protective anger. 

Her body shifted to a large werewolf type creature, her form rippling and shifting in an oddly beautiful manner, shredding what clothing she was wearing. Letting out a roar of rage, the wolf leaped forward, intending to protect its mate

Pausing in shooting, Megamind peered down at his fallen rival. Finally! He breathed a sigh of relief and leaned on his gun cannon, lips quirking in a smug grin, “That’s what you get for daring to challenging Megamind! What a picture of defeat you make, I rather with I had a camera.”

Defeat!? 

Well… there went her plan. Snarling angrily, immediately reacting to the anger she felt at his words, she concentrated fiercely on the power she held within, exhaling in a swift motion as two inky shadows in a general animalistic form rose behind Syx. 

She didn’t speak, didn’t give the man any warning before she instructed them to attack, moments before she burst into as intense of a flame she could possibly manage.

The shadow demons didn’t hesitate, leaping onto the bot that Syx was in, beginning to rip and claw at the joints 

“OH SHIT!” twisting wildly around Megamind spun the canon to aim at her again, firing off a shot before, he became aware of his other problem. The spider bot stuttered under him, staggering to the side as its joints began to give under the claws, “The fuCK IS THAT? THE FUCK ARE THOSE?!”

“Oh take a chill pill!” Megamind swore at her when he saw the fire, the reek of burning glue quickly filling the air. The special glue blackened and blistered in the heat. Before it could burn away completely he fired several more shots at her, trying to smother her fire and coat her in glue

Lyn didn’t even bother to try to shoot a retort back to the blue man, didn’t bother to try to even try to avoid the great globs of glue that flew to her.. there was no way she could avoid them anyways. There were no mortal means of suppressing her fire.. though regardless the weight of the glue sent Lyn to her hands and knees, the feeling of the extra weight and being surrounded by it all allowing her to diminish the flames after a few brief moments. The action certainly gave it the appearance that the glue had effectively smothered her flames.. 

She remained still on the ground, concentrating on keeping her breathing steady and even. She kept herself still, waiting for Megamind to decide that she had calmed enough.. 

Pausing in shooting, Megamind peered down at his fallen rival. Finally! He breathed a sigh of relief and leaned on his gun cannon, lips quirking in a smug grin, “That’s what you get for daring to challenging Megamind! What a picture of defeat you make, I rather wish I had a camera.”

Oh it looked like he might have gone a bit to far this time. Megamind forgot how much of a hair trigger the hell cat had some days. Their banter moving far too quickly into true anger of her face. Shit.

Scurrying back on the spider bots many legs, Megamind swiveled the large cannon around. Tracking her movement and trying to predict where she’d be, he switched to de-coupage and fired.

Lyn’s ears twitched as she heard the charging noise as the canon prepared to fire.. and acted immediately, knowing she had only a short second to do something before he fired. She leaped high into the air, twisting and turning as she did, fire sparking from her hands, licking out into the air around her. 

She aimed to get beneath the spider bot, figuring it would be the weakest area on it.. though she knew Syx was no dummy. He wouldn’t make it easy for her to do so. 

Damnit! Megamind watched her sail up and over the glob of glue the gun spat out. Verticle opponents were so much more frustrating to hit. Still, he had plenty of practice fighting Metro Man and the hell cat couldn’t fly.

With a clamor of metal on concrete, the Spider Bot shot to the side and away from her shot, the fire splashing over the legs.Far closer to hitting then he was comfortable with. 

Swinging the cannon around again, Megamind fired off three shots toward her and where he hoped she’d be.
