Send ♋ For Our Muses To Swap Bodies!

He was outside. Crouching on a rooftop. Syx was familiar with the area and being on a roof wasn’t that strange… but… he didn’t remember coming out here. Maybe he’d… sleep walked? He’d been building something in Evil Lair… Anna had…. tried to get him to come to bed, but he’d been on a roll and wanted to finish. He’d promised to make it up to her later. Likely he’d fallen asleep at the drafting table, it would hardly be the first time that happened.

Still, it hardly explained what was going on currently. Standing Syx stepped back from the ledge. He didn’t feel tired. At all. Bouncing on his toes he marveled at how odd that was. His clothing was odd too… not his normal leather and spandex. Speaking on that… he reached up and touched his head. Small. Hair.

WHAT?!

Jerking in shock and growing panic, Syx spun and dropped to the ground. He made a beeline for the lair. He didn’t know what was going on but he needed Minion NOW!.

@sincerest-flattery

On edge already, Veda startles hearing Anna’s voice. Staring at the unfamiliar woman blankly, without recognition, Syx’s demand snaps her out of it.

“I have not- why would I do this?” Nothing about this situation was anything Veda would have wanted, blinking as if she would normally be tearing up.

@1000liveslived

Anna made a soft sound of confusion, her lips parting in shock. She knew Syx’s mannerisms of speaking without even having to listen that hard, looking to the blonde woman, before back to the blue skinned man that was supposed to be her mate.

“36 let him go,” She urged, her voice raising a bit more so it could hear her properly once she realized that the person currently occupying her mate’s body wasn’t going to do so. “Bad! Bad let him go!” She urged, “He’s a friend!” She added, unsure just what would work.. so she tried it all.

@syx-blue

With Mommy telling him not to, 36 made a sad bowg and let go. It’d been having fun chewing. Depressed at hearing yelled at and told off it retreated to Anna’s arms. The new bots who here smarter than the old bot, accepted the verbal command of ‘freind’ by designated user: Mommy, and started buzzing about the lair again. 756 wandered over holding a wrench to Veda, presenting a wrench to what looked like Daddy.

“Finally!” sighing with relief, Syx frowned as he watched the bots ignore him. That was disconcerting, they were his creations, they loved him… being ignored was worse than he might have thought it would be. He moved over towards Anna, glaring at the imposter wearing his face, “I have no idea what happened, I was just suddenly on a roof like this. I’m pink!” he held up a hand, looking down at himself, “And female? And blond?”

“Where is the place tha’ ya talkin’ abou’?”

“Fine, fine.”

“It’s just off the downtown. A few blocks from the Museum,” he gave her the address, “It has plenty of back rooms. I stop in there fairly regularly.”

Net fishing was illegal in Michigan unless you were one of the Native American Tribes, but even if he wasn’t the hench fish of a super villain, Minion hardly felt those rules applied to him. The law refused to register him as anything other than an animal, though the Warden had managed to get him registered as an endangered species at the very least. So as far as the alien fish was concerned, they could shove it. He was a fish hunting other fish and this just made thing so much easier with his busy schedule.

Humming Crazy Train to himself, he wadded his gorilla suit out into the water of the lake and found where he’d anchored the tie. A small floating bottle making where the net was as he dragged the circular net contraption back in.

The sight of something new in his territory had Azlariel curious enough to monitor the net that had been left. For the most part he avoided the places humans usually frequented, but the smell of this one was different. Like something else had placed it.

Monitoring the area he considered his, he finds himself drifting back in the direction of the net only to find the original placer having returned. Immediately he shies back to a safe distance in order to observe without risking harm.

With the net brought up to where he stood in the shallows, Minion crouched and looked at his catch. A mix of Salmon and Trout of varying sizes, he patted the side of the net happily, “You’ll all be delicious.”

Swinging a carrying chest from his back, Minion set about fishing them out of the net and packing the wiggling fish into the chest to take home. As he didn’t see anyone around to protest the action, he opened the done in the top of his suit and dropped one of the smallest fish into the dome with him. The fish only had a moment to panic in disorientation before Minion’s large teeth closed on it. He munched happily as he finished packing his haul up.

Bluebell turned on her holowatch and checked her disguise in the mirror before heading out of Evil Lair. She’d donned a blue studded leather jacket and ripped up grey jeans, completing her look with spike covered high heels. With her degun strapped under her jacket, the young super villainess headed out for a day of pranks and five fingered discounts. Gleeful, she put her earbuds in and hopped on her bike, tearing out of the wearhouse district without a care in the world.

Bustling around the shop, Lucy had some time to herself. In which she was working on upgrading one of Minion’s suits, hoping to make it easier for him to maneuver around. There were still some issues with it locking up, the joints not quite what the teen had hoped for.

As far as she knew, she’d be alone during that time. Or at least as alone as she could hope to be, with Minion in a larger version of his globe in order to follow her around.

Hiding her bike in an alley and turning on the invisibility field, Bluebell danced out into the street looking for her mark. In her headphones, Rhianna blasted, the young villainess singing along, “Don’t act like you forgot, I call the shots -”

Spotting the workshop she’d decided to hit earlier, Bluebell skipped over to the back of it and with a small wiggle of excitement, broke out her infiltration kit. Strapping goggles to her face with a snap and grinning like a mad woman, she flipped the switch on her device and killed the power to the building and pulling out her de-gun, de-hydrated the back door to make her entrance.

When Roxanne was told to go downtown and cover the Megamind fight, she’d been flabbergasted. Not that she’d been asked to, but that she hadn’t been kidnapped. At the very least as Hal drove them the the site of the battle in the news van, she was glad the villain was active again. She hated to admit that she’d been growing worried.

For the first time in years, when the camera clicked on, Roxanne was speechless. Her mouth hanging open as she watched Megamind fight off another villain. No… not another villain… Megamind was the… hero? She felt as if her whole world had just tilted on its axis. Hal’s snapping fingers brought her back to reality, “Uh, earth to Roxanne? I mean, like, cameras rolling here.”

Snapping back to the task at hand she launched into routine, mind preparing the Metro Man spiel and on the fly word swapping in Megamind, “This is Roxanne Ritchi reporting live from downtown as Metro City’s defendor, Megamind, battles-”

As she gave her running commentary, she watched the blue hero, wondering just how different this person would be from the one she knew. When the battle was over, Roxanne tucked a strand of hair back behind her ear and approuched with a hesitant smile, “That was an intense fight, huh?”

Coming down from the focus she’d needed during the fight, Megamind at first doesn’t respond to the question. When it sinks in that it had been directed to her, however, she immediately snaps to, looking over only to see Roxanne was the one who had asked.

That was enough to have her looking far less tense than she had to begin with, what would normally be a familiar smirk on her face and de-gun in one hand still at her side. “Nothing I couldn’t handle,” she answers, front of confidence fully in place considering the situation.

Roxane laughed, “Yeah, I could see that,” one hand on her hip as she cocked it. She’d worn a rather flirty dress for the day, a red and white thing that clung to her curves. Her face showed more worry than she’d wanted it to as she admitted, “I was actually scare for you acouple times there.”

It was so different from watching Metro Man fight. Never had she had cause to worry for that invulnerable man’s safety, only that of the civilians that might get caught in the cross fire or hurt by the disaster. She often worried deep down about Megamind getting hurt in his fights, but most of the time when he did it was from his own machines. This was the first time she’d seem Megamind in a fair fight, a real fight. Even if this wasn’t her Megamind, “You kicked their asses good though. I was impressed.”

Leading her deeper into the lair, Syx found what he would need. His lips gliding over her skin as his hands worked the ropes. Anna’s arms were tied behind her back, the intricate ropes and knots designed to support her weight without pinching or cutting off circulation. With her arms and chest secure the blue man bit her neck as he walked her backwards and attached her to the first hook.

Commands given the a few brain bots made sure everything over head was secure and that they’d jump in if anything went wrong. That set, he ran a finger over her lip, “Evil gods you’re beautiful.”

Watching him work over her, watching his expression as she was steadily and methodically tied up before him, utterly helpless to whatever he may do to her.. and it sent a thrill through her like nothing else she had felt. She lightly pulled at the restraints at her wrists, finding herself truly immobile.

When the first hook was attached? She found her breathing coming faster now, her pupils blown wide with desire. She looked to him, her lips parted to help with her accelerated breathing.

“I need you..” she breathed, wanting to do something.. but helplessly tied against any motion.

His breath caught in his throat at her words, it sent a shiver of need through him, one hand slipped between his legs to let his tentacle curls around his fingers. She was beyond gorgeous, her desire filling his senses in wonderful ways. Willing and wanting before him… and his.

“Anna~” he moaned out, his other hand rising to cup her cheek, “My gorgeous captive tiger,” he purred seductively, eyes blown dark with need. Freeing his hand from his tentacle, now coated in his juices, he smeared them across her lips, pushing his fingers into her mouth, “Taste how much I need you.”

It never even entered into Roxanne’s thought to wonder at genetic compatibility. In her mind, it seemed a given based off fantasy and science fiction tropes that humanoid species could and would have kids. Megamind was always just a blue human in her mind.

“Magic? Curse?” Roxanne’s face drew out into an anxious half grin, sure that this blue man was pulling her leg, “Are you sure you haven’t been reading too many tabloids?”

“Sadly no, welcome to Metro City where magic is real and is mostly used to be a pain in your ass,” Harrison sighed dramatically.  To illustrate his point he focuses enough to levitate the box of donuts up so he could select a chocolate cake donut with rainbow sprinkles.  “I’m friends with an honest to god faerie that lives in a magical tree, Wayne has a longstanding beef with a djinn, and I’m getting magic lessons from a half-dragon.  It’s a brave new world.”

The expression of disbelief locked onto her face, Roxanne waved her hand under the box, “Okay, what’s the trick? I’ve seen Megamind do some pretty amazing things before but it was always grounded in reality somehow even if I didn’t understand half of it.”

She knew of the Doom Syndicate, but that was elemental stuff. She’d written them all off as mutants with physical abilities like Wayne’s heat vision. Brow furrowed she followed that same logic here, explaining what she was seeing based on what she knew, “So… like telekinesis?”

The other things he said, she filed away for future research. Djinn, fairy, dragon. That was going to be a fun research trip if she could even begin to separate fact from fiction.

“Nope.  Honest to god magic.  I had to memorize spells and do this thing with smelly herbs.  Most of it is just focusing emotional energy at its core, so I’m sure there are scientific principles somewhere at work here.  But I’m still a beginner,” Harrison explained with a shrug.

“I do have some additional empathic senses that humans lack; mostly it involves reading emotions by receiving subtle clues in pheromones.  But I’m not an actual psychic.  There is one of the other blue men in town who is however.  He’s telepathic and telekinectic.  He could be the most dangerous man in Metro City if he wasn’t such a shy, introverted, sweetheart.”

Brows lowered thoughtfully, Roxanne held her coffee as she listened. Magic… sure why not really. Just one more thing to add to the odd things in this city and another research topic for later. God, she was going to have zero free time.

“Pheramones? So like an ant or a bee?” She looked over at him as she sat back, “Like you can smell fear? Must make poker easier.”

The Evil Lair

1000liveslived:

kmcp8reporter:

Smiling with glee as her fingers found and depressed a switch, Roxanne gave a slight push and the door swung open. She closed her eyes as she passed through the holowgram, it was far too visually strange to walk through a wall. Without her knowing, Megamind’s security did a sweep over her and registered her as ‘welcome guest’.

To protect Miss Ritchi from harm from his machines, Syx had simply plugged Roxanne’s bio signature into all his systems to treat her with protection. To save time, he’d simply copied that override into each new system. Never had it occurred to him that his favorite kidnappie would have cause to wander freely around his lair or that she’d ever even find it without being brought there.

Anna heard the soft sounds that were coming from the door, though even with that? She was entirely unconcerned with anything that was happening. She had full faith in the lairs defense systems. Between the bots and all the weapons.. well. Anna herself was a force of nature. She would be just fine, that confidence shown in how she walked steadily even when she heard the sound of the door opening.

She had just come around the corner to see Roxanne standing there… and the bots moving away. Her eyes widened with evident shock, her gaze flicking from the bot to the woman with short brown hair. In the lair where the lighting was a bit more dim than natural lighting, the glow of her eyes was more evident, taking another slow step forward, looking at the woman curiously.

“Who are you?” She asked, her head tilted in a more animal like manner than human.

Pausing to look around and orientate herself, Roxanne watched the Brain Bots fly around the room. They’d been drawn to the door thinking Daddy was home, but seeing [Special Case: “Roxanne” = passive mode, additional program, run: Do Not Play] they ignored her and went about their business. Roxanne didn’t notice their behavior as unusual as the bots had always behaved that way around her.

In fact, the only thing to shock the reporter as she stated into the lair was the unfamiliar glowing eyes and the woman’s voice. She froze, wide eyed at the stranger, feeling strangely offended. In embarrassment she realized it was the same feeling she’d had upon realizing as a child that her teacher had a life outside of school. She’d known that she didn’t know everything about the blue super villain’s life… but it was different to actually see something so unexpected staring her in the face.

Straightening her back to try and cover for her surprise, Roxanne countered, “Me? Who are you?” taking in the clothing she added hesitantly, “Do you actually live here?” she realized she didn’t really know if this was a home or a workshop or what it was to Megamind. She’d assumed he would just built his robots in a place like this. At the same time… it was hard to picture Megamind living in a normal house.

Syx had woken up from that nightmare again. It had gotten more frequent since his break up with Wayne. The stress, he was sure. Making sure not to wake Anna, Syx slipped out of bed and headed into the workshop. He needed a distraction. What he got was…

He made a high-pitched distressed noise in the back of his throat, beginning to hyperventilate. The void had come to swallow him whole.

Syx thought his heart was going to jump out of his chest as he watched the cloud of black, pinks, and oranges that were her hair swallow the old bomb. Sinking to the floor, he just stared in horror, shocked to even be alive.

“You… boom…” a hysterical laugh leaked out of him as he tried to regain control of his functions.

Registering that something had blown up in her hair finally, Celestialess tried to sink lower to the ground, reaching up and trying to gather he gaseous hair with a small amount of difficulty. Eventually she had it mostly pulled around her form and not waving off in all directions.

“….Apologies. I don’t feel my hair… Like I do my physical form…”

“Ah… yes… well… that makes sense?” Syx’s wide green eyes where still glued to where the bomb had been. A hand pressed firmly over his hammering heart, he stood on unsteady feet and eased backwards, “T-this way.”
