First Time

Letting his eyes fall shut blissfully, he relaxed against Harrison, lips just as soft and loving as he kissed back. Reaching up to cup his hand over Harrison’s he sighed, chewing his lower lip, ❝I don’t know… turn off my brain? Overthinking it just leaves me anxious. When I can prepare for what’s causing my anxiety, be active, it helps. But some things, like this, it just makes it worse.❞

“We can talk about it, if that would help?” Harrison offered.  “Here.”   He takes Syx by the hand and leads him to the sofa, making himself comfortable and pulling the other blue man into his lap.  There’s a still a novelty in that.  A lifetime of dating only humans and he’d always been the one in a lap with those skinny hips of his.  But with Syx they fit so well that he wraps his arms around his lover’s middle, letting the other blue man get comfortable.

“I have some ideas for positions if you want to discuss the nitty gritty details.  Or if you want to tell me what’s going on in that giant blue head of yours,” he teased lightly, giving Syx a kiss on the cheek, “then I’m here to listen.”

Syx blew out a breath, quite unsure of himself what he wanted or not and if it would help. While he was still lost in his own musings, Harrison was already leading him, he followed quite on autopilot. Not that being in his blue lover’s lap was in any way an unwanted experience. They fit together so well after all. Syx wrapped his arms around Harrison’s shoulders just to revel in that fact.

❝Well,❞ he began, his voice quavering with all the uncertainties that so often plagued him that he tried so hard to keep hidden around people. But Harrison wasn’t people. He was family. So that was okay. He’d stopped talking, so he tried again, ❝Well, the texting- sexting? always made it easy to talk about. So actually talking is the logical next step, right?❞

His long blue fingers flitted about, making patterns on the back of his lover’s neck. It was perhaps evil of him, after all, he knew all the weak spots. The same ones he had. But evil was what he was. And leaving the person under him a bit of a mess made things seem… more balanced. Comfortable. In control.
