There’s a significant chance I’m way, way off or everyone figured this out a long time ago, but
At the beginning of the movie, Metro Man is addressing the crowd and he says, “The greatest honor you’ve given me is letting me serve you, the helpless people of Metro City. And at the end of every day, I often ask myself, who would I be without you?”
He’s trying to tell them. He’s hinting at what’s been going on in his head. It goes right through them, but if you look closely at his eyes, you can see the sadness. He’s admitting he’s looking for his own life beyond the title the population has given him of “hero.” He wants to know who he’d be without them.
And I want to hug the poor guy.
{{ all of this. This is my head canon and the reason I wrote A Different Perspective. }}
In case you haven’t noticed, you’ve fallen right into my trap. You can’t trap justice. It’s an idea, a belief.
Even the most heartfelt belief can be corroded over time. Justice is a non-corrosive metal.
But metals can be melted by the heat of revange. It’s “revenge,” and it’s best served cold.
But it can be easily reheated in the microwave of evil. Well, I think your warranty is about to expire.
Maybe I got an extended warranty. Warranties are invalid if you don’t use the product for its intended purpose!

I cant be the only one who sees Metro Man naked in only boots, cape and underwear
Well I DO NOW!
Look closer at the arms – he’s also wearing gloves.
yeah, wouldnt wanna touch that dirty ball with his bare hands
