i keep thinking about that tribe of baboons where all the alpha males died from eating poison garbage and then the baby boy monkeys were taken care of by the lady monkeys and never got socialized to be aggressive so they all just live peacefully and groom eachother instead of fighting and killing eachother and its been generations of that, it only took 1 wipeout of the aggressive males to change the whole social order of the species i am crying they must be so much happier

……….I have an idea.

don’t we all

biggest hetero lie i’ve been told: fighting is a part of a healthy romantic relationship

Disagreements are a part of every healthy relationship. Having bad days when you’re not your best self is a part of every healthy relationship. Fighting, disrespect, and insults? Those are not healthy at all.

^^^^^^^^^^^^ the fact that some people don’t get this is staggering.

“Two years after “Sesame Street” debuted an autistic Muppet named Julia on their digital program, the orange-haired tyke is now going to appear on the actual television show.

“It’s tricky because Autism is not one thing, because it is different for every single person who has autism. There is an expression that goes, ‘If you’ve met one person with Autism, you’ve met one person with Autism,’” “Sesame Street” writer Christine Ferraro told “60 Minutes” reporter Lesley Stahl on.

If the character of Julia does her job, Ferraro added, “when [children] encounter [people with disabilities] in their real life it’s familiar. And they see that these — these can be their friends too.”

A survey released by the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore and Johns Hopkins University in 2012 found that 63 percent of children with autism spectrum disorders had been bullied. They were three times more likely to experience bullying than their non-autistic peers.”

@ all my boys who menstruate:

Y’all aren’t any less of a man because you get periods. Periods are fucking badass. Most cis guys would flip their shit if their nether regions started up and bleeding, but you just shrug it off like ‘oh, not again.’ That’s manly af and don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.

And @ all my ladies who don’t have periods:

Menstruation is NOT a fundamental part of womanhood and you shouldn’t be excluded because you don’t bleed. Being a woman is so much more than just having a period, and you know that better than anybody.
