Maybe Jack should have stayed put, let a splicer kill him so he could come back new and refreshed. But he hated dying, and he wasn’t one to give up, so instead he stumbled away from the trio of splicers he had just killed and did his best to find a safe place in which he could rest and recover.
Blood was dripping into his eyes as he made his way into what looked like an abandoned shop. With one leg sliced clean through by a splicer’s hook, he couldn’t quiet the dragging of his foot, and he could only hope that there were no splicers lurking around to hear him enter.
Was that… music? Jack followed the soft, barely noticeable sound of it until there, in the depths of the shop, he could see the figure of what had to be a splicer. Jack was still near the entrance of the shop, and he drew his pistol with a shaking hand.
“Don’t– don’t move–” His head was pounding from the blow on his head. It was difficult to aim, but he couldn’t let himself be killed now, not when he had just found relative safety.
Shouting Tony ducked down, hands going over his head as he made a dive for under his workbench. How had that crazy splicer gotten past his traps?! Oh… there was the alarm sounding. It had gone off but Tony had been so in the zone that he hadn’t heard it. He cursed under his breath, hands clutched to his face and stomach dropping out as he saw his work dripping fluid. He must have knocked over the vial in his dive and now the priceless liquid drain away.
❝Fuck! You don’t move and I won’t either!❞
At least his traps were in place, a trip wire would spring a turret if the man came closer. Some consolation.
I’ve had a lot of asks about adoption and so I wanted to do
a master post about it, because it’s a very complicated subject. Please keep in
mind that everything that I’m writing about applies to Canada, and may not be the usual practice in other places.
Natural Black Hair Tutorial! Usually Black hair is excluded in the hair tutorials which I have seen so I have gone through it in depth because it’s really not enough to tell someone simply, “Black hair is really curly, draw it really curly.”
The next part of Black Hair In Depth will feature styles and ideas for designing characters and I will release it around February. If you would like to see certain styles, please shoot me a message!
