“Evil doesn’t say sorry!” Megamind informed her, “But you’ll notice that you didn’t actually get hurt so I was in point of fact watching where I was going!”
He huffed and crossed his arms ar her. What she said clicked and he narrowed his eyes at her, “And I’m not ‘good’ and bad, the badest.”
Pausing then to look her over more carefully he amended, “You are unharmed, right?”
She mimicked the arms over the chest as she stared defiantly up at him, if only because he was acting a bit like a child. “If you have to ask, th-then you can’t go and say that you’re watch..watching where you’re going!”
Though she was grateful he cared – feeling the way her limbs lost their stiffness, felt the way anger was slowly dissipating out of her system like cool steam.
“Yes well that doesn’t answer my question,” Megamind huffed.
Seeing that she was going to continue to be difficult he flipped a lever and locked the Spider Bot into automated standby mode. Placing a hand on the edge of the boy Megamind launched himself over the side and used the legs on the bot to do several bounding jumps to control his landing.
Standing before her he looked her up and down with a critical eye, “See you are fine! And no I’m still not going to apologize for getting you out of the way. You’re just being a loud mouth complainer,” he raised his eyebrows at her.
