Preening and shifting gears to himself in the best way. Not a very conscious decision on his part, he just very much wants them to like him back. So he redoubles on making his presentation flawless. This also can end up with him tripping over himself because he tries to do too many things at once, or lingering looks and seductive tones when he didn’t mean to give his feels away thus causing embarrassed blushes later.
💙: how would my muse handle seeing their object of affection falling in love with someone else?
Pain. I don’t really know how he’ll react to it now that he if far more secure in the love he has in Anna… but when he thought Roxanne and Wayne had fallen for each other when he had a crush on both of them… he decided that it didn’t matter as long as he could still be in their life one way or another. If he could only have Wayne as a nemesis and Roxanne as a kidnappee… well at least he was still something to them. Still part of their lives. But he never would have fought for their love, as sure as he was that there was no way he could never have it. How could they ever love him after all? Granted he knows he was wrong about Wayne… though that still didn’t work out for different reasons. He still really doubts Roxanne could ever love him as he is. It hurts horribly, though less so now that he isn’t alone. Still… while he will never stand between Roxanne and her seeking love… he also doesn’t want to be out of her life either. Same with Wayne… though that fall out was horribly painful.

Bell tends to be over silly and swing between ridiculous nonsequiturs and total silence and blushing. When she doesn’t know what to say and freezes up, she draws or moves. A very common thing will be to draw on herself or the object of her interest (if allowed). Playacting is another way she finds the voice to express herself around someone she’s interested in. Quoting from romantic movies or songs to borrow words when she has none.
ღ: how does my muse feel about displays of affection in public and/or in private?
Megs really doesn’t mind displays of affection. Public is fine as long as it stays PG-13. In private Megs finds it very endearing and sweet.
💕: how does my muse express their feelings? do they do through small but meaningful gestures, or through bold declarations?
Both. I’ll use Anna as the best example with Syx. He shows her how much he loves her with tender touches and little tokens of affection and food… but then he will also spend several weeks perfecting a grand gift and then drag her up a hillside to give it to her just as the sun sets over the lake. He gets very excited about his plans and plots them out to precision even if his excitable nature can be his greatest foil.
💌: how would my muse go about confessing to someone they liked? would they do it indirectly or directly, or maybe not at all?
It’s all through action up until he accidentally blurts it out not even realizing that was the word he’d been looking for.
“I love you… I love you… I love you… oh… oh wow…”
💟: what are three traits that my muse looks for in a partner?
Patience. He knows he can be stubborn and overly focused, that he can get stuck on an idea… so he needs someone who can handle that and steer his focus back around or who is willing to wait until he comes back around.
Acceptance. He’s not normal in many ways. Being blue is only part of it. He needs someone who can accept all of him as is, who he doesn’t have to force himself into a box to please. Who he can be himself around without judgment.
Intelligence. Someone who he can have a conversation with, who can engage him. This doesn’t mean they need to be academically smart, just witty, clever, or otherwise engaging to talk to. The mind is the most attractive thing.
