Saute the onions and garlic,  add the

Worcestershire stir a bit. Add beef and cook till just brown and seared on the outside. Add beans, tomatoes, paste, and all other veggies except the corn. Mix together all the spices and add them in. Cover and cook on very low heat for at least 30 min to an hour, check veggies and meat and make sure stew beef is tender and veggies are cooked through. Add in corn and chocolate chips. let cook 5 min.

Let sit off heat until cool enough to eat. Or don’t ;D

Serve with corn bread. Makes enough for 4.

Also this is soooooo much better the next day after the spices have intensified overnight.

drabble for this song- Miike Snow: Black & Blue

Syx didn’t know her name. How could he when she didn’t know her own? She was formless and drifting. Normally he’d be the one walking through life as a zombie and needing help. It was a new experience being the one helping someone else.

Talking her hand he led her through the Lair again, sitting her on the sofa he’d dragged near his drafting bench. Evil plans had taken a back seat lately. He drew other things instead. Ideas that had been bouncing through his head. He ranted and waved his pen around in circles as he described what he was thinking about. Every now and then she seemed to come aware and ask a question or offer an insight. With a wide grin he hung on every word she gave him. When she faded away again he revolved around her as if she was the sun. He was no stranger to deep pain. The world was cruel so he surrounded her with whatever she needed to find herself again.

Until one day when he got lost in his work, drafting paper a mess of tight calculations and detailed drawings. A cup of cocoa appeared at his elbow, a soft hand at his shoulder. He could have cried as he looked up into her bright and thoughtful eyes, “Welcome back Tiger.”

The fencing lesson had been going well, Syx was having more fun then he had in ages and this was far better then sparing with a brain bot. Emma however had a bad habit of using far too much strength for the thin blade, so when her lunge missed she punched Syx square in the jaw. His head snapped back as he staggered.
