At Minion’s direction, a brain bot appeared and draped Megamind’s caped mantle over his shoulders. Shifting the spiked leather around, the blue villain brushed the high collar up into place feeling more comfortable already. His shoulders back, he moved with more confidence and he paced the witch. The brain bot nuzzled into his arms for petting.
Stroking the bot’s dome, Megamind mused, “You don’t have any family here then?” he frowned, “Do you have any plans at all?”
He tried to remind himself not to get involved. This wasn’t his mess to deal with. Minion arrived just in time, toting a plate of warm sugar cookies decorated in holiday themes. He leaned down offers the plate towards their captive.
“There you are, Miss” Minion beamed, ever the helpful and bubbly hench-fish.
Shaking her head once more, Sarah replied with a sad tone to her voice. “I don’t have any family here whatsoever, Thou see all the family that I had ever had were all in the town of Salem but now all that family art gone. First it had been mother, devil rest her evil soul” She stopped then, letting her words trail off just as Minion reentered the room the nice smell of the sugar cookies drifting right towards her.
She threw a fleeting glance in Minion’s direction and she allowed what once had been a very faint smile to rise upwards a bit wider taking one of her hands from the book she took just one of the cookies from the plate choosing the one that was shaped like a black cat which reminded her of the boy she and her sisters had transformed into a immortal black cat the night they were hanged back in the 1600′s and the same cat who stopped their plans 21 years ago to this very night with the help of a child and two teenagers.
“I Thank thee” She commented before she took a bite out of the cookie she swallowed before she spoke again. “This is delicious thy a wonderful cook”
“Oh thank you!” Minion replied brightly, “The secret is al-”
“Don’t tell her all of our secrets!” Megamind hissed, glaring at his loose-lipped friend.
“-mond extract,” Minion finished, giving the blue man a sidelong look, “I highly doubt she’s going to dupe our evil plans based on my cookie recipe, Sir.”
“First it’s cookies, Minion! Next, it will be the secrets of DNA extraction!” Megamind flailed his arms around as he paced, “You mustn’t let them worm their way into your weak-willed mind.”
Minion let out a long watery sigh, “If you say so, Sir.”
Spinning back around to their captive, Megamind pursed his lips, “Well you can’t stay here. I live here,” he narrowed his eyes at her, he won’t be able to live with himself if he knew she was going to be sleeping on the streets, “I’m a super villain, not a charity.”

Creepy or adorable? Researchers at Harvard University have demonstrated the first autonomous, untethered, entirely soft robot: the octobot.
Instead of being controlled by electronics, the robot’s logic board is powered by chemical reactions and fluid passing along tiny channels. Scientist have struggled to create completely soft robots because rigid components like circuit boards, power sources and electronic controls are difficult to replace.

Megamind rubbed his hands over his face. He’d already finished a night of Halloween activities and had really been just looking forward to a quiet night in the Lair with his loved ones. Was that so much to ask.
“So you wandering into my Lair is just entirely by accident? No evil plots?” he sighed. Maybe she was just a homeless new villain in the city.
“I’ll be right back with some cookies then Miss,” Minion added brightly, making a note to at least bring Sir his cape. He knew hope naked the blue alien felt without it when talking to the public.
Sarah nodded her head, continuing to very gently run her fingers over the cover of the book before she felt yet another smile tug at the very corner of her lips and despite herself she giggled before shaking her head.
“Yes thou is correct and yes there are no evil plots coming from me. It was my sister Winifred whom came up with with the plots back when she was still alive”
