As they slide apart, Syx laughed, “She certainly does, though you’d hardly know from what she normally wears. Which is next to nothing,” he winked, “Which is a lovely sight all by itself.”
Very content to have Harrison beside him, Syx shifted his leg to brush against his date’s as the villain took another bite of the meat. This was proving to reassure many of the worries Syx had wondered about. More than lust and definitely love. One compatible with them both having separate lives and separate mates. But still intertwined. Never in a million years would he have guess that his future would have lead him to this beautiful moment. A smile playing over his lips, he echoed, “Very lucky indeed.”
Harrison was glad Syx was happy but internally he was praying that she would be wearing clothes when the time came for them to meet. It was already going to be awkward enough already.
“Would you like to see some pictures of Devin?” he asked, already his hand snaking into his pocket for his phone. “I don’t mean to be one of those parents, but well, he’s the most important thing in my life right now,” he confessed. And to his knowledge, the only pictures Syx has ever seen of his little boy were taken when he was a month old. Now at 10 months he had already grown so much. Unless of course Syx has been secretly googling paparazzi photos of his family.
Syx slid closer, already looking at Harrison’s phone, “That’s understandable, he’s a special little baby,” besides Syx was rather used to the behavior from several of his Uncles. Though it was mostly grandkids they were showing off now, “He’s had to have gotten bigger since the first pictures you showed me.”
He sipped from his glass as he brushed his shoulder against Harrison’s, his curiosity high. A little blue baby. It still felt surreal.
