“She can change shapes? We really aren’t sure what the limits are because of the memory loss, but she can turn into a full wolf or a werewolf sort of thing in between. Her mindset seems very… wolf-like? No matter what form. Also blue glowing eyes, they’re… heavenly,” Syx sighed, “And she is. She knows about the entirety of the four other people I’ve had sex with and her only stipulation is knowing I’m coming home to her in the end. And well,” he chuckled, biting his lip as he recalled his predate well wishes from his mate, “She did mark me before I left, but I deeply assure you she both knows about you, is happy for us, and wants to meet you.”
Seeing Syx so happy as he talks about this woman can’t help but make Harrison smile. Its how he feels about Wayne. He may love Syx and enjoy the relationship they’re building, but Wayne is home. He’s not sure he could be with Syx like this without his mates love and support.
“We’re a lucky pair,” he says, somewhat a non-sequitur as his words don’t necessarily explain the train of thought that got him there. “To have found such wonderful mates. I can’t wait to meet yours. She has good taste in clothes so I like her already.” He squeezed Syx’s hands one last time with a cheeky grin, then let them go to slide his plate and drink over to where he was sitting. This is where he wants to be now, next to this charming man he adores so much.
As they slide apart, Syx laughed, “She certainly does, though you’d hardly know from what she normally wears. Which is next to nothing,” he winked, “Which is a lovely sight all by itself.”
Very content to have Harrison beside him, Syx shifted his leg to brush against his date’s as the villain took another bite of the meat. This was proving to reassure many of the worries Syx had wondered about. More than lust and definitely love. One compatible with them both having separate lives and separate mates. But still intertwined. Never in a million years would he have guess that his future would have lead him to this beautiful moment. A smile playing over his lips, he echoed, “Very lucky indeed.”
