Minion followed along, humming Happy to himself. As they went along his curiosity grew, “So have you been in the city for long?” Minion really felt he would have noticed a creature like this before now, “I’ve been here since I was barely older than a fry, but the city has changed recently. I’m not really sure I’ve always been in this city, if you know what I mean.”
Regardless of not knowing what that tune is from, Azlariel finds himself idly keeping up with it in his own way, the quiet trilling he’d made a habit of taking on the same meter. Minion’s question cuts the sound off, however, trailing off into something more thoughtful. “Ha’e not known anyving elze.” Calculating the length of time takes a bit longer, however, eventually just shrugging it off.
“Not vat long. Zome time, vough.” he answers, the sketchiness of how time was measured here still not something the alien was entirely interested in figuring out more fully.
Minion nodded, his little body floating up and down in the tank. That would help explain the difficult the other found English… But than again Minion always wondered if he’d find the language here so easy without the obvious modifications he had. Lost in thought, he started humming again as they finished their walk. He’d enjoyed the sound of Azlariel’s voice.
