Date Night

dark-blue-mondays:

syx-blue:

“Oh ho ho,” Syx chuckled, “Are you challenging the devilishly handsome Megamind?” he waggled his brows in return and cupping Harrison’s cheeks he leaned in until his breath ghosted over the other’s lips, “Accepted.”

Kissing the other softly, he let his lips linger and his tongue slid against Harrison’s lips before pulling back, “Starting now.”

The change in motion of the car made him look around as his body shifted. He peered out the window in curiosity.

“Ooooh you’re evil,” Harrison pouts as Syx takes his delightful tongue away.  But he can’t stay mad for long, seeing as they’ve arrived at their destination.  As Syx shifts from pinning him against the seat, they hear his chauffeur get out and walk around to open the door.  The restaurant is located in a brightly lit part of uptown and there are a few pedestrians in the sharp winter air with coats bundled against the cold, but otherwise its just a brightly lit sign and a wooden door.

Harrison reaches out and gives Syx’s hand a reassuring squeeze right before the door opens.  Harrison crawls out without hesitation, then turns back for Syx.  “Delicious delights await,” he teases, extending his hand towards his date with a dazzling, confident smile.  “My overlord.”

Within the shadow of the car, Syx bit his lower lip as he looked out to the door of the restaurant. Taking a deep breath, he reached out and took Harrison’s hand. He found himself trusting this blue man more than people he’d know for years. It should be scary, but all that blue skin just made his heart fill with warmth.

As he slid out of the car, he kept his chin up with a confident smile, “And you my cap-tive,” he drew out the word, “…audience.”

With a devilish grin he tried to ignore all the people around them, to focus just on Harrison the way he did Roxanne or Wayne during the game. He could feel the eye dancing over his back, but as long as there weren’t any unexpected noises or touches it wasn’t so bad.

“Alright!,” he bounced his eyebrows, “Let’s see these scientifically delectable cone-coctions,” as he started to the door he found he was still holding Harrison’s hand. A sudden bout of worry, the eyes on them, he nearly let his date’s fingers slip out of his suddenly slack fingers. Sucking in a breath, he closed his fingers around Harrison’s again.
