He was outside. Crouching on a rooftop. Syx was familiar with the area and being on a roof wasn’t that strange… but… he didn’t remember coming out here. Maybe he’d… sleep walked? He’d been building something in Evil Lair… Anna had…. tried to get him to come to bed, but he’d been on a roll and wanted to finish. He’d promised to make it up to her later. Likely he’d fallen asleep at the drafting table, it would hardly be the first time that happened.
Still, it hardly explained what was going on currently. Standing Syx stepped back from the ledge. He didn’t feel tired. At all. Bouncing on his toes he marveled at how odd that was. His clothing was odd too… not his normal leather and spandex. Speaking on that… he reached up and touched his head. Small. Hair.
WHAT?!
Jerking in shock and growing panic, Syx spun and dropped to the ground. He made a beeline for the lair. He didn’t know what was going on but he needed Minion NOW!.
“But-but!” Syx sputtered and then crossed his arms and pouted like a child. Stepping closer, he dropped his head onto Anna’s shoulder, throws off by the change in his head size, “fiiiiiine.”
He turned his head enough to glare at where Veda was in his body, still very upset at her. It was horribly unnerving for him to not be able to smell his mate the way he was used to.
“I-I am sorry.” Veda stammers out, shrinking away from Syx’s glaring. Her nose wrinkles, catching a hint of Anna’s emotions from here. The sensory change is confusing, and she isn’t sure how to react to it or how to properly ask.
Not long after she finds herself looking away, trying to force herself to ignore the look Syx is giving her even with her shoulders tense, posture defensive.
Anna was honestly very relieved to see her mate calm down further, him being the most important thing to her right now rather than Veda. Her focus was ensuring he was alright and wouldn’t make matters worse before she worked to fix whatever it was that was going on.
She wrapped her arms around Syx, looking over to Veda with a calming smile, “Its alright. Nothign for you to apologize for,” she assured her, taking in a deep breath before looking up. “Minion, can you come in here please?!” She called out, thinking he would be able to look at the camera’s and look back to see if there were any clues there.
Minion swirled around in his tank, disoriented, “Sir? Miss?”
He’d been up far too late into the night himself on his guilty pleasure the early final fantasy games. He never quite knew when to put the game down so he only let himself play when there weren’t any evil plans in the near future. The shouting and commotion had roused him, but it had taken far to long to actually get his robotic limbs moving.
As it was, Minion didn’t know what he was looking at. Seeing Anna comforting a strange woman and his Sir looking very distressed, Minion looked between them and started heading towards his Sir with a confused frown.
“Wh- Minion!” Syx shouted in panic, reaching out towards his brother, “That’s nOT ME!”
“Uhhh, Sir?” the hench-fish squawked, looking around the room in growing distress.
