Leave it to Emma to throw him a surprise birthday party on the birthday he wasn’t overly fond of. Not to say that he didn’t love that she had thought of him, and that she had wanted to do something sweet for him on his birthday. But didn’t like his birthday, and he often kept things low-key, not because he found himself too busy, but because he liked it better that way. At the very least, he knew almost everyone at the party. All of Emma’s family and his included. He was even impressed that she got his old gang together.

Halloween night… What a night for a party.

He made his way towards the punch bowl and served up a cup of the orange drink for himself when he stepped to the side and nearly bumped into someone. He blinked and looked to his left before he smiled apologetically

        ❝ I’m so sorry… I didn’t step on your or anything did I? ❞ He asked, looking the boy over. ❝ Sorry I um… Don’t think we’ve met. You’re Emma’s friend right? ❞

Taking a few short steps back, Syx grinned hesitantly at the birthday boy. Emma had told him about her new flame and so far Syx very much approved. Now seeing Caspian in person, he agreed with the assessment that the boy was hot.

Deciding to up his normal wardrobe to something more holiday themed, he’d sewn bat wings to a jacket and done up his eyes with heavier eyeliner and smokey shadow. This was on top of his normal attire of studded leather. In the last few years, he’s switched to short hair, though, leaving behind the long dyed spikes.

“And you’re Caspian,” despite his grin he took a step back, keeping a comfortable distance from people, and laughed, “Even if you did, I’m more durable than I look. I assure you that. And it’s Anthony, but everyone calls me Syx,” or that was to say he preferred people to call him Syx. Tony made him cringe and Anthony felt stuffy.
