“And what do we have here?” Zagam’s eyes widened in surprise, first wary, to see a strange artefact floating around him, but relaxed immediatly when noticed it was just trying to call his attention, thing that did succesfully. His gaze soon moved towards the blue man that for one second he thoug might be Mr. Drake. It wasn’t him, of course. The colony was not the same neither the energy. Another blue man?
Zagam flashed him a charming smile leaning forward on his chair, there is the resting area of the exhibition. “Pretty artefact you have here. Is it yours?” He asks with playfully interest.“Hmmm… no, but then most people look to my sugar intake the same way they’d look at adding salt to strange things,” Syx shrugged.
Walking to the next part of the exhibit. It featured a large statue of Metro Man holding him up by the neck. The blue man cringed at the sight of it. Returning to the earlier part of the conversation he tipped his head, “What sort of parts do you have that don’t fit into standard clothing? Are you… like a werewolf or something? Or… wait you said devil. You don’t mean the whole hoofed foot thing is right, do you? I always figured that was as fictitious as unicorns.”
Zagam breaks in a burst of laugh. After the moment of silence, he thought Syx was not gonna ask about his real shape again. But it seems he was wrong. “Can’t distract a cerebral mind. can’t I?” he teases, smiling mischief at him. “That curious you are, my little blue man?” – He smiles broadly and approaches at him with elegant steps until he was to just one of distance. Hand up to lay under the alien chin, now in a pitch black tone, with long sharp claws as nails. A black veil began to raise behind his back, stretching to both sides with dark feathers. His wings raised high and descended until touched the floor, joining to his tail that waved from left to right with amusement. “Careful with what you ask to a devil. We are not cheap and any request could come with an extra bill” – The devil of red eyes grinned and soon his goat twisted horns came out from both sides of his head. “I owe you the goat legs, Sweety. I really like this pants. I will show you when I’m more free and maybe in private” he steps back and winks at him.
Syx lost his breath as Zagam changed before him, green eyes growing wide. He couldn’t help the touch of fear that laced through him at the claws so near his throat. He tried to take everything in without moving his eyes too much, unblinking as he locked eyes with the devil.
As Zagam stepped back, Syx licked his dry lips, “Wings? So you can fly then?” shoulders back he masked his uncertainty and fear at what he’d gotten himself into, “I see what you mean about seamless transformation.”
He looked around them for the reaction of the idiot sheeple of the city, it was strange to him to not be the focus of the hushed gasps and stares as they tried to work out an appropriate reaction to what they’d seen. He was fairly certain the screaming would start soon.
“Well if we want to avoid Metro Man,” Syx cringed, “We’d best be leaving now.”
