“You just randomly found a secret entrance into a super villain’s lair?” Megamind groaned, covering his face with his hands. Damn it, he didn’t even have his gloves on! He wasn’t prepared to be dealing with this. “You honestly expect me to believe that?”
Hunching his shoulders in the way that would normally make him look bigger if he’d had his spiked mantle on, Megamind glared at her. He had no idea what to even do with her. “Why are you even in Metrocity?”
Sarah’s eyebrows rose up in surprise, her mouth opened and closed several times struggling to find a proper way to respond until eventually she managed to stammer something out, though it was by no means a satisfying reaction but she kept her tears at bay from escaping the corner of her eyes. Even if it was just a question she felt a sting within her heart “I chose to come to this city and I don’t think the reason for my being in the city is any of thou concern”
“Considering the fact that this is my city, I think it is!” Megamind raised his chin and the woman, “And you are in my Lair!”
He refused to feel bad about upsetting her. She was the one who had invaded his space. Minion had been lurking for a time now, having gotten the cookies in the oven and gone around to close the door they’d left open. He made himself know now.
“Should I get the knockout spray and the ropes, Sir?” he looked at the poor woman with a bit of worry, hoping they could get her back where she belonged at the very least. But their own safety came first.
