Megamind had just pulled out some juice from Roxanne’s fridge, sniffing it, when he heard her singing. Shooting straight up he stared wide-eyed at the bathroom, “Temptress!”

“That’s that Hocus Pocus movie, isn’t it?” he accused, his lips curving into a wicked grin as he teased her, “The witches that wanted to capture children, does that mean you’re ready to be my evil queen, Miss Ritchi?”

Roxanne held back the chuckle that she could already feel building up within the very back of her throat and she walked closer towards him at a slow but sort of sexy type of pace more different than her usual way of walking that’s one thing for certain but of course she was only playing along or was she? she didn’t quite know the answer herself to her own silent question.

Her eyes met his and she leaned forward as though she was going to kiss him but just before her lips even touched his she quickly pulled herself back but the only thing was that she didn’t step away from where she now stood in front of him with her eyebrows and eyes slightly narrowed as a look of shock and very very slight disgust came over her features. 

“I don’t think so, Megamind. That in itself would be a truly big step in my life and just because I’m dressed as one of the evil Sanderson Sisters doesn’t mean that I am evil in fact I never even thought of becoming evil”  Roxanne snapped placing her hands upon her hips it clear to see that this was just the beginning of one of her sassy moods. 

He’d asked it in jest but the look on her face still twisted Megamind’s heart. Taking a step back he schooled his features and tried to hide the pang of disappointment. Chin lifted, he laughed, “Oh ho ho, you say that now, but one day you’ll realize Mr. Goody-Two-Shoes is lacking luster.”

It was easier to joke about what you couldn’t have, the Hero and the Damsel. They were both good and right and fit. He wasn’t bitter at all.

With a dramatic sweep of his cape, Megamind turned toward the door and gave her an approving look, “I’m to take it you find yourself presentable, Miss Ritchi?”
