Megamind had been attempting to better understand this strange new multiverse he was in. When out to pick up supplies from a European supplier his curiosity had gotten the best of him when he and Minion had passed over a place that had never existed on the map before. Curiosity truly was a curse.
Finding his quiet exploration bringing him to a museum in hopes of understanding this strange place, Megamind flattened his back against the wall when he heard singing. Seems he wasn’t as alone as he’d thought. His hand falling to his de-gun just in case, he crept out further to see the singer.
Mal started to head back to the exit of the room unaware of the loud clap of thunder and a streak of bright green lighting right behind her striking the statue of Maleficent. She was completely oblivious seemingly being in her own little world of thoughts and feelings until she heard the unmistakable laughter of her mother right behind her. Mal whipped her head around to come face to face with her mother in all of her evil glory laughing much like a manic.
When her mother started to sing the advice her daughter wanted she hang onto every word. Mal looked up in awe as her mother tossed her staff to her the violet haired teenage girl stared at the staff that was in her hands as if the staff was her weight in such gold. Hearing her mother clap twice, Mal instantly tossed the staff back to her mother and Maleficent caught it with such ease.
Mal grinned up at her mother as she hung on to every single word that she sang, blue clouds of thunder and lighting formed above the duo and Maleficent sang on. “This is not for us to ponder this was preordained you and I shall rule together freedom soon regained. Mistress of the universe. Powerful and strong, daughter hear me help me strong me won’t you sing along?” Maleficent threw the end of the staff to her daughter who caught it in surprise as her mother grasped the other end next to her and Mal joined in the song.
“Now we’re gonna be evil it’s true never gonna think twice! and We’re gonna be spiteful!”
Watching the girl move around the room singing, Megamind had a assume she had earbuds in or something… there seemed to be chunks of her song missing. Frowning he crept out further, she was so oblivious in what she was doing, he’d grown bold.
When the statue the girl had first approached disappeared, he jerked back, green eyes wide. His eyes darted around for any other surprises, his voice a low murmur but sounding far too loud with her song ending, “…what devilry is this…”
