“And what do we have here?” Zagam’s eyes widened in surprise, first wary, to see a strange artefact floating around him, but relaxed immediatly when noticed it was just trying to call his attention, thing that did succesfully. His gaze soon moved towards the blue man that for one second he thoug might be Mr. Drake. It wasn’t him, of course. The colony was not the same neither the energy. Another blue man?
Zagam flashed him a charming smile leaning forward on his chair, there is the resting area of the exhibition. “Pretty artefact you have here. Is it yours?” He asks with playfully interest.“Earth has never had immortal armies…” Syx trailed off with a slight frown, “Which is a good thing in my opinion. Though what you just described is why I use brain bots. I can have thousands and not need to feed them. They only need to be recharged occasionally.”
“Yes it’s a good thing,” he checked the map again, “This way.”
Turning he wove easily through the crowds, holding out his stolen ticket. He wasn’t going to pay to get in to see his own inventions. Leading the way to his wing, Syx stopped and stared. With a bark of laughter, he gave a whoop and jogged over pointing, “Either they actually do have my stuff in here of it identical enough not to matter!”
He stopped before a massive robotic husk that filled an entire wall. The bot was in a kneeling position and had been stripped of all deadly weaponry by a brain bot team before it had been recovered by humans, but it was still an impressive sight in Megamind’s opinion. Standing it would have been over 20ft, covered in spikes and wielded dual flamethrowers. It still had the dents from the battle with Metro Man covering it.
True, but it would be also entertaining for demon to battle immortals in earth. He saved that thought to himself and followed Syx all the way to the Megamind’s section, stopping briefly front each small description or information he could find. Soon the enormeous image of a giant appeared from him, indeed, surprising him. Could be considered a good match for a rock demon, a goliat or a Leviathan. “Impressive your Titan of Iron!” he exclamed and approached to it, wondering how he makes it work. It was not moving…The devil titled his head and looked back to Syx. Knowing absoluty nothing about advanced technology- “Is not moving. Does not he recognize its creator? ” well. The machine seems not care that Syx was there….
“Is that an Unicorn?” the devil pointed behind Syx. blinking..
“Oh I stripped the power core out of it after the battle, it’s deactivated. It was a good fight, though,” Syx sighed with a happy grin, “I would take a lot of work to make this one come back to life again. It’s mostly just scrap-metal and memories now.”
Without even turning, Syx knew just what Zagam had seen, “Nooooooo it’s not a unicorn. It’s the Equestrinator! That spike is bigger than the others for balance,” his voice was that of someone who’d had to repeat that far too many times.
Truth be told, he was very aware of what he’d built and that was half the fun. Shouting puns and hidden jokes back and forth with Metro Man and Miss Ritchi. It had only gotten better when she’d realized that it was a joke. He’d miss it when it was all gone. The large creations around him filling him with nostalgia for an ending era.
