Syx groaned and slumped dramatically in his chair, his hands thrown up into the air, “How am I supposed to gain any semblance of control over a mess like this! Most of my brain bots can’t even tell the difference between mine and the other Megamind’s Lairs! And that’s not even getting into helping Anna with whatever her curse is and Wayne being moody and I still need to talk to Miss Ritchi, and my Da- …Warden changed. Some of my Uncles did too…” he sank down further, it was just too much as once, “I feel like I’m drowning.”
[He shakes his head at Syx’s theatrics, somewhere between amused and annoyed at the behavior. If the man wasn’t being so negative, it would just be funny. As it is, well, a Megamind shouldn’t be such a quitter.] You are trying to take on too much all at once. You need to take things step by step.Your criminal activities can sit on the back burner since there are plenty of heroes and villains here to keep the new people in check. As for the brainbots, I can’t say that I understand why them getting mixed up is an issue. Most of them will listen to any blue person equally, meaning you haven’t lost any man- bot power. You’ve gained the ability to utilize the other Megaminds’ brainbots. Now, your family and friends, that is up to you to take your time to sort it out. But, again, don’t try to sort everything out at once. It won’t work.
Syx looked up enough to scowl at Wayne, “It matters because they’re mine. You might go around smashing them all willy-nilly, but they are my creations. I don’t want the old one’s getting lost just because they can’t find home anymore.”
“How can I not worry about everything?” he flung his arm out barely missing Harrison, “Everything is a mess and I have to fix it,” it was a need that had driven his since the very beginning. He could see solutions, it was just making others agree to those solutions that always got him in trouble.
Not that a Metro Man would understand or likely even care. Not that it mattered. It was his problem. His and the Blues. They’d just have to pull back and tighten up what they could control for now. Access things before trying to reclaim lost territory.
Filling those thoughts to the back burner of his mind, Syx tried to refocus the conversation. He ran the conversation back through his mind and pulled out, “So you have a Megamind yourself?” he looked at Harrison, “A villainous one? I’m assuming the one with the tongue stud you mistook me for?”
