Megamind had been performing a steak-out. Sitting on the roof of a nearby building. He’d had brain bots watching the place and tonight should have been the night. A gang had been planning on moving very dangerous weapons through his city and he could allow that.Â
The night had dragged on. Too many long nights that he’d been building new machines and tracking this potential shipment. His eyes drooped and he was asleep before he knew it.Â
He was falling …up… the ground disappearing beneath him until Earth was nothing but a marble in the black inkiness of space. His heart seized. No! Nooo! Not again!
Jerking wildly as he awoke, Megamind blinked in confusion at the face that swam into his vision. The expression making it hard to understand who he was looking at, memories blurring together as he tried to put the right name to the face in his half awake state with heart still hammering, “Wha…?”
“Mmhmm, for a man who just told me that I didn’t need to bother, you are taking advantage of it,” she said with a raised brow, and as soon as he was close she poked the side of his head. “Come on loser, the stuff is right inside,” She stated, pulling a key from her pocket.Â
She appraoched the back door, inserting the key and turning the knob.Â
Megamind smacked her hand away, “Why wouldn’t I use it once it was there?” he glared at the back of her head as he followed. She was starting to remind him more of Lyn then the Emma he knew that had been Anna. Thank god.
She laughed, shaking her head some as she opened the door, “After you,” She mused. As soon as he was through, she followed behind him, locking the door behind her to ensure she didn’t forget later.Â
“Alright, it’ll be in the office,” she paused to stifle a yawn, her ears hanging off to the side as she did so before she took the lead. Pausing, she took out her keys again, frowning softly as she went to find the key..Â
“..ALright where the fuck is it..” she murmured, chewing at her lower lip before making a soft noise. “There you are!” she inserted the key in and opened the door for him to go in firstÂ
Syx was beginning to get leery about being locked in a room with the cat eared woman, but she was obviously tired and he still had his de-gun. He kept a careful distance, cape drawn around him, simply memorising everything.
