“Ha! Well what are you waiting for then?” Megamind gave the Crimson Fucker the come at me fingers from the piolet seat of the Spider Bot, “Come on an hit me if you’re able.”
Crawling put of the wrecked bot Syx took the time to wave his Brain Bots to make sure Lyn really did leave. Turning then to focus on the strange creature before him, Syx raised a cautious hand. Those glowing blue eyes… so much like Anna’s… “Thank you?”
Ears shifting on the wolf’s head, it looked up to him at his words, though still kept its head lower than Syx’s. It didn’t flinch at his raising hand, didn’t snarl, didn’t give any indication of a warning at his gesture.Â
It shifted forward, closer to him, making a soft noise in the back of its throat, the sound almost a soft whining bark, one that was eager for his attention and acceptance.Â
He’d always loved dogs, it’s why he’d used them as a base for his brain bots. That soft whine brought his hands to the wolf’s head. Stroking the thick black fur and scratching it behind the ears his voice softened, “Ah you’re just a good big doggie. Saving me from that horrible cat.”
With a sigh of exhausted relief, he sagged against the large beast, pressing his nose into the fur of its neck. It smelled… like home. Like the Lair. Like his mate. Syx found himself nuzzling into her fur automatically.
