Huffing Syx tried to wave her off, “It’s fine really.”
Actually, it was embarrassing as the bruises were revealed. As his tight suit was peeled back, dark bruises covered his arms and sides courtesy of a hard staff. Those weren’t the ones he didn’t want to show, though.
“Bath yes,” Syx smiled softly, “Water always makes me feel better,” he figured it had to do with his semiaquatic nature.
Pulling her hand to bring her with him, he hesitated, dropping his forehead to her shoulder. Not wanting to meet her eyes as he admitted, “We’ll uhh… have to keep things above my waist, though. I don’t thing I could… or would want… not right now.”
Anna honestly hadn’t even considered anything sexual with Syx when she had saw the bruising.. but she was glad that her mate was vocalizing it, giving her an insight to how he was feeling at the moment. Shifting, Anna reached up to gently caress at the base of his head, humming softly.
“Its alright, love. I promise..” She murmured, pressing a kiss just above his ear. “Lets get clean together,” She smiled some, pulling away from him. Tipping his head up, she pressed a lingering kiss to his lips before pulling away fully to begin to draw a hot bath for them both.
When the tub was filled Syx sunk into it with a deep sigh, reaching out he drew Anna to him. Shifting around so she could sit behind him in the tub, “Be careful if you ever run into a blue woman with pink eyes. She has a horrible temper. Also explosive powers. She, uh, blew up my gun. I’m just thankful it wasn’t still using the original power source anymore.”
