With his holowatch firmly in place and activated, Syx strode into the small tattoo parlor wearing his most often used dark skinned face. His afro filling a portion of the space his blue head did in order to help the disguise generator. He found that the less the watch had to drastically fabricate the more realistic the disguise and the longer the charge lasted. Generating flowing hair and clothing he wasn’t actually wearing stressed the-the algorithms in the watch and increased the likelihood he’d end up looking like a CGI character come to life.

Smoothing out his leather jacket, Syx grinned at his uncle and leaned against the counter. Chatting about business and news since he’d been in prison. Passing on messages from those who were still inside.

Noticing Paige coming in he gave her a little wave, heading over toward her and plopping down in her tattoo chair as if he hadn’t turned down every offer she’d ever made to give him one. He flashed her a wide charming smile, green eyes shining.

“Draw up anything new while I was gone?” he always adored seeing her sketches for her designs.

Syx pulled his legs up into the chair, “I’ve always liked the look of them.”

He idly ran his hands over his forearms as he crossed his arms, “Something that would be a continuous design from palm to elbow,” accidentally making a request before he realized it.

Paige hummed softly as he spoke, her mind already beginning to turn and consider what it was she could do as he spoke. Shifting, she pulled her phone out, nodding as he finished speaking, “You know, doing something continuous like that would go really well with…” She trailed off at the end, her mind quickly rolling through the options.. but what she kept coming back to was a sunrise scene.

Though there was no real difference between a sunset and a sunrise, the meanings and the way she brought it to him would hold a whole new meaning.

Shifting, she pulled up a picture and showed it to him on her phone, the sunrise over the ocean creating a breathtaking view of oranges and reds and hints of a deep purple grey color.

“What about something like this? A sunrise?” She prompted, shifting. “It would have no real beginning or end,” she smiled warmly at him, her eagerness to do this tattoo evident in her eyes as she spoke. She didn’t know it, but the waves would do a good job of hiding the scars he had on his arms as well.

His face fell into awe as he looked at the picture. A sunrise. A new dawn. Syx’s hand moved automatically to his wrist as she spoke. The cut where blood once poured would be a wave. Blue water crashing. Water and the lake. They had always been meaningful to him.

Biting his lip he murmured, “It’d work well with blue…” speaking louder, “Sunrise on the inner wrist and a star field on the outer?”
