Good Morning Sunshine

dark-blue-mondays:

Harrison quietly shut the bedroom door behind him, and made his way back to the bed in the dark quiet room.

Harrison had woken up earlier, and had quietly slipped himself from the bed so he could spend some time with Wayne before Syx woke.  The pair had gotten Devin up and fed, then dressed and off for an adventure with Sheldon and Mets at the aquarium.  Harrison wouldn’t have minded introducing Syx to his son, but he wanted to give both Syx and Wayne a chance to feel each other out without an audience.  Also with a threesome on the table, he’d rather have his loving but nosy brother out of the house.  And his mouthy dog too.

Meanwhile Wayne was in the kitchen, trying his best to quietly prepare pancake batter, freshly whipped cream, bacon, and a warm cherry raspberry compote.  He’d only done the topping because Harrison had given him puppy dog eyes but the blue man felt no guilt about getting exactly what he wanted.  His mate was the one who had let his fear get the best of him, and as far as Harrison was concerned, Wayne could spoil him a bit to make up for it.

Harrison had slipped from the evenings pajamas into something a bit more sultry, for Wayne’s sake as well as Syx’s.  Now it was one of his flirtatiously short black silk robes, and a pair of tight, bright purple patterned underwear that peeked out when the robe separated.  Nothing too salacious, but something he was reasonably sure both men would appreciate.

Sliding back under the covers, he wiggled in close to Syx, wrapping his arm around the other man’s back and pressing a soft kiss to the top of his forehead.

“It’s time to wake up, sleepyhead.  We have a hero making us super-breakfast,” he said softly to the blue man in his bed.

Syx mumbled sleepily, slowly coming to. Soft and warm and in a very comfortable bed. One with finer sheets than he owned. His first thought was that he’d fallen asleep at Wayne’s, but the arms around him were too small. Anna? No, that wasn’t right. Slowly and groggily the memories from last night returned. Coming over to Harrison’s dead tired. Here because he wasn’t in the right mental place to help his sudden house guest. He loved Anna dearly but… it was exhausting, watching her struggle and feeling helpless. He hadn’t felt strong enough that night.

Waking up like this, oh this was lovely indeed. A soft smile playing on his lips as he twisted around and kissed the lovely blue man beside him, “Breakfast?”

Wayne was making breakfast? Oh right… Harrison’s Wayne… he flushed. This was going to be very different.
