Anna held the phone to her ear, pressing her hand flat against the glass that separated them. She was wearing his hologram watch.. she had changed her features just a bit, so she didn’t look as who she normally was. Her expression was warm and tender, swallowing.
“..I miss you..” She murmured softly. Hyper aware that they were being listened to and watched, she sniffled, “..I found the car.. you had left it at the corner of Night’inham..” she told him softly
Laughing Syx grabbed her and spun her around, “You’re gorgeous.”
Peppering her face with kisses and rubbing his stubbled cheeks against her face as he laughed Syx crushed her against him. Finally settling with his forehead pressed against hers. He snuck another kiss, light against her lips as his fingers traced her very normal looking ears, “This was a wonderful welcome home indeed.”
Anna almost glowed with her happiness, her smile coming so incredibly easy to her. She looked calm, content.. peaceful. It was truly something to behold, truly something she couldn’t help but marvel over at just how swiftly she felt she had changed. With that small thing, with that little bit, knowing that she would never have to see those ears again, never have to deal with that tail again.. it was amazing!
A light trilling giggle rose as he stole another kiss, humming softly as she returned the embrace with equal intensity, “..I love you..” she whispered the words, but the softened tone didn’t take away from just how much of the emotion she expressed in her voice.
To her, he was her everything. She loved him, for who he truly was, scars and all. Even with the different views of love, she didn’t mind it.. and truthfully she wondered if he would ever bring her in and introduce her to one of his other lovers. She had heard a lot about Wayne, heard some things about Harrison.. and she absolutely loved how Syx looked when he spoke of them. To see him speak about anything he was passionate about, brought her immense joy.
Nuzzling firmly against her, Syx hummed, “I love you too.”
Things were finally seeming to stabilize again and with it, he longed to show off his beautiful love to the world, or at least to those others in his life he cared about.
