I just finished a YA novel and the real twist of this one is that there’s not a conventional love story. Instead, there’s some real potential for some kind of poly relationship and I’m so down for that possibility. Because let me tell you this novel was headed the way of traditional hetero YA novels and it did not end that way.

It’s called Mechanica by Betsy Cornwell. It’s a retelling of Cinderella, but also kind of Steampunk-ish. It’s good.
