Anna held the phone to her ear, pressing her hand flat against the glass that separated them. She was wearing his hologram watch.. she had changed her features just a bit, so she didn’t look as who she normally was. Her expression was warm and tender, swallowing.

“..I miss you..” She murmured softly. Hyper aware that they were being listened to and watched, she sniffled, “..I found the car.. you had left it at the corner of Night’inham..” she told him softly

Syx was hungry, but other matters felt far more pressing. He squeezed her hand, “I think a few mammal moments are in order first,” he laughed at Minion’s awkwardness, “I really want to change and get clean,” he always felt horrible coming out of prison and unlike himself. He leaned into her, “Come with me?”

Anna smiled softly, her arm moving around him as he leaned into her again. Humming happily, she breathed in deeply, pressing a gentle kiss to his neck. “Of course,” She assured him. If he thought he could get her off his side for the next 24 hours he was severely wrong.

Moving with Syx to the bathroom, she shut the door behind them both. Looking into the mirror a moment, she smiled some, “..You know I like this form a lot,” she mused, grinning over at Syx. The lack of ears and tail helped her feel.. normal. More like the Anna she was becoming rather than the Emma she had been.

Turning from the mirror and looking down at the watch, she took it off, laying it on the counter.. but her appearance hadn’t changed in the slightest.

Syx grinned back at her in the mirror, wrapping his arms around her and nuzzling into the fluff of her short hair. Breathing in her scent, she smelled like the lair, wild and earthy. His Tiger. It didn’t matter to him what she looked like, as long as she was happy. He would always know her by her scent.

He opened his eyes again just it time to watch the flickering blue light wink out around her… and for nothing at all to change.

“What the…” Syx grabbed her wrist and inspected the watch, expecting to see it had malfunctioned or gotten stuck on. Yet it was off. Baffled he ran his hand through her short spiky hair, “Anna… what wonder is this…?” he laughed, “It wearing off,” it must be, whatever it was that had made her not herself.
