Identity Crisis

Lies.. all of it was lies. Every supposed memory that she had, down to the home she lived in and the name she had carried. She had run as far away from the pair that now haunted her waking nightmare.. the entire reason she was now in the situation she was in.. though to blame them was entirely unfair. Anna found that she didn’t really care, though.

Each moment after seeing that horrible blonde haired woman was just one thing after the next.. realizing her life was a lie, coming home a home that was no longer actually true.. the building was dilapidated, run down enough she wondered how it was she had lived in it to begin with.. she had searched for nearly a half hour after that, convinced that she just had the wrong address.. but she didn’t.

She couldn’t figure out what to do, where to go, who to turn to.. nobody was true to her. There was nobody, she was alone, entirely alone..

She had been slumped back against the place she had previously called home when she recalled a single person.. she had met him after the fact.. Syx. Syx was there.. Syx wasn’t a lie..

Standing, she made her way numbly to the warehouse district. Her entire body posture screamed of defeat with her shoulders slumped, barely picking her feet up as she walked and her head bowed. Her tail and ears were limp as well, the tail dragging along the ground

When Syx got the alert that his car eared love had entered his territory he’d perked up and started straightening out the Lair for company. With a wide grin, he’d thrown open the fire exit to call down to her, his face falling when he saw her posture.

With a panic and growing dread Syx scrambled down to the ground level and rushed over to her, “Hey,” he touched her shoulder gently moving to wrap an arm around her.

“Oh evil gods, what happened?” the emotions coming from her made him sick to his stomach.
