Syx hunched his shoulders as he slogged through the sudden downpour. The storm having come from nowhere. When the break from the rain suddenly appeared, he glanced up, first noticing the umbrella before the being holding it. He blushed, “Oh uh… thanks?”
It was neat that he brought his umbrella along with him on his stroll just in case, suspecting the bright day wouldn’t last very long. The rain came in and it was his queue to crank open up his umbrella and raise it above him so it now kept him safe from becoming soaked. And the man now next to him. Since he slid towards and made sure he was covered from the displeasing weather. He responded to his thanks with a kind smile. And walked along with him. “Not a problem.”
Syx whipped a bit of the water from his face, he was soaked through. His leather jacket only having done so much to block the downpour. He eyed the strange man, not really sure about him. Syx kept his shoulders back, in a confident self-assured pose. He wanted to ask about who and what the strange man was, after rejecting several approaches he settled on, “So who are you anyway?”
His smile faded a bit but still showed that he was content with the other alien beside him, kicking the puddles they passed and kept his gaze in front of them as they walked. “Ooooh I’m just…a newcomer to the city exploring around. It is surely gorgeous here.” He answered following with a chuckle. “But i defenintely know who you are. And well…it’s strange, but nice to meet you.” He said now looking at him with a bright smile returning.
Syx gave him a look, “There aren’t very many people how would be,” he frowned not sure what part of the game this man would be on or if he was neutral, “And it’s not gorgeous, Metrocity is full of coruption and rot,” there were some beautiful parts, some people that shone like beacons, but most days it was hard to see it.
“Ohh..well that also makes the city extremely interesting doesn’t it? Not so one dimensional.” He beamed. “Back where I lived not much events went on, you know, but everything here always seems..so coated with excitement and adventure!” At the moment, loud thunder roared from the sky startling him a bit. In his own head, he saw it as his point being proved. “I hope the rain doesn’t become any heavier though.” He admitted.
Syx cocked his head to the side, curiosity growing, “It’s Michigan, hard to say what it’ll decide to do,” he’d lived on the streets long enough in his youth to know just how cruel Michigan could be, “What was the place you came from like? Where did you come from?”
