Syx hadnât slept the entire time heâd been behind bars, he just couldnât. The dreams always haunted him. The solitary made him feel half mad. More than half mad really. Heâd pulled a stupid stunt to get out. Â More foolish than he should, but it worked. Anna and Minion would be eager to see him. So would Wayne. Yet he found himself outside of the towering building that Harrison lived in. The bags under his eyes were deep, a five-o-clock shadow on his jaw, his clothing too big and stolen. Heâd used a brain bot to fly up to the roof of a nearby building. He didnât even know what his plan was. He was just tired and wanted the thoughts to go away.
âMy Wayne isnât the throttling type,â Harrison reassured him. Â He wrapped one arm firmly around Syxâs lower back and the other started to massage his upper back and shoulder. Â The slippery satin worked a bit like massage oil, letting his hands easily slip over the other blue manâs tense muscles. Â âAnd it wont be the first time heâs walked in on me snuggling another blue man in our bed. Â Probably wonât be the last either.â
Syx relaxed into the touch, easing down until his head rested on Harrisonâs shoulder. Letting out a content sigh as his tension unwound, âWell youâre making me feel far less special.â
He was tired and still feeling out the boundaries of this strange new relationship but he rose slightly and captured Harrisonâs lips in a quick kiss. Settling half over the over blue man as he melted under the massaging hands.
Harrison moves his hands up to rub the back of Syxâs neck, then up to his giant blue head. Â âWell if it makes you feel any better, Iâve never kissed another blue man in our bed.â Â Heâs pleased to see Syx relaxing under his touch, both physically as muscles loosen and emotionally. Â He adds a soft kiss to the top of the other blue manâs head. Â
Syx hummed, âThat might,â enjoying the touch and attention. His eyes closed as he nestled into Harrison, âMine,â he sighed possessively as he ran his fingers over the other manâs sides. His mind wandering is his exhaustion, half asleep as he lay there. Flitting around chaotically, settling on one of the dilemmas he faced, âI donât think I can keep doing it this way. But it canât stop either.â
Harrison smiled as Syx pulled him close possessively.  He didnât mind Syx thinking of him that way at all and he responded by nuzzling his nose into the top of the other manâs head.  âWhat do you mean by âitâ?  The whole heroes and villains game?â
Groggily Syx took a while to respond, âYeah⌠doesnât make sense if weâre datingâŚâ he yawned, âBut can really stop or go public. Ruin everything,â his tired mind bouncing between topics confusingly, âThis is nice. Really nice.â
Harrison isnât following, but he doesnât think that matters. Â He knows what its like when his own massive mind shuts down, and heâs willing to bet Syx is crashing. Â Now isnât the time to offer solutions, now is just time to listen and give the other blue man some much-needed affection.
Harrison continues to caress the other blue man lazily across his back, neck, and head. Â âYou deserve nice things,â is all he says as he does his best to lull his companion to sleep.
Syx snuggled against his bed mate with a sigh, “Don’t… not really,” he was quite nearly asleep, “I’m a monster,” even if he sometimes regretted the path in life that was his destiny, it was still a choice he made and he’d do it again.
