Megamind leaned over the edge of Spider Bot that he’d been driving to glare at the bystander that had gotten caught up in things, absolutely refusing to take the blame for her current state. Dehydration and a little water were hardly anything more than inconvenient. He’d just been trying to prep for his next battle with Metro Man, why did simply everything have to be six times harder lately. Just his life.
“You were the one in the way!” Megamind shouted down at her, “I’m in a giant robot,” he waved vaguely not sure how else to emphasize his distaste with the casual way the citizens of Metrocity felt they could just walk up onto his battles and projects. Yes, he never intentionally hurt citizens but DAMNIT it made that increasingly harder to avoid when they blundered in like that. He just wanted to set this place up to be perfect for next week, was that so much to ask?
Oh she wasn’t backing down that easy – standing her ground with an inner fire she had not felt in a long time. Perhaps it was because she was standing in front of one of two people she idolized in the city ( as her heart thumped in her chest ) that she had found such strength, or simply because it was the straw that broke the camels back.
Either way Katelynn had to have her say in the matter.
“Being in a robot is n-no excuse! Being in something so big sh-should mean you have to be ext-extra careful where you’re going! And you could also say you’re sorry! You’re a good villain but that doesn’t excuse manners!” she scolded, hands on her hips and not even realizing how the passion she felt helped with her stutter.
“Evil doesn’t say sorry!” Megamind informed her, “But you’ll notice that you didn’t actually get hurt so I was in point of fact watching where I was going!”
He huffed and crossed his arms ar her. What she said clicked and he narrowed his eyes at her, “And I’m not ‘good’ and bad, the badest.”
Pausing then to look her over more carefully he amended, “You are unharmed, right?”
