“I’m sure you do.” She did herself on realizing where she was, the Brainbots zipping ahead to wait by the entrance of her Lair. “You should know where the entrance is,” Megamind answers simply, already leading him to it on the off chance that the way what he knew was set up was different from her own. In any case, she’d be needed along with for him to get inside.

Her set up was very similar to his own, Syx looked over it as he followed, spotting the subtle differences. It shouldn’t be surprising really, not seeing that blue skin and how similarly she was dressed and behaving. It was unnerving really. In another though Syx found his excitement and curiosity growing. Blue skin. He hadn’t seen blue skin that wasn’t his own since he was eight days old.

That curiosity brought his steps closer to the female double then he would otherwise have done with someone who was potentially hostile towards him. The larger part of him, though now that he was growing calmer, wanted to see if she smelled right. He wasn’t sure how else to put it, but he remembered his parents smelling different from humans.

While partially distracted by ensuring they’d be able to get inside, Megamind doesn’t consciously notice Syx moving closer at first. Though she does pay some attention, most of her focus is on directing the Brainbots. One of them zips off further into the Lair to alert the other inhabitants that they had a guest if any decided to make an appearance.

When she does turn her attention to the new alien next to her, Megamind at first looks startled by his having stepped closer before quickly disguising that emotion on her face. Not soon enough for it to be fully hidden, however.

At her look Syx realized how close he was and stepped back quickly, blushing. He refocused on looking around at her base and her creations. He tried to cover but in the end asked softly, “You really are… like me though?”
