Harrison was at home playing with Devin when the tiny bot approached the strong force field that protected his balcony from unknown intrusions. A chirp of an alarm signaled it’s approach and Harrison grabbed his tablet to read the results of a quick scan. It wasn’t explosive and it seemed to be carrying…. a gift? The blue man allowed it to pass and picked up Devin, meeting the bot outside. It handed over its package and accepted appreciative pets from Harrison and a fascinated Devin before zooming off. Devin fussed when his robotic friend flew away, but Harrison’s curiosity about the content of the package thoroughly distracted him from any irritation his son’s whining.
Once they were back inside he opened the box and took out each metal fish one by one. They were lovely and unique but he truly had no idea who would send him handmade art via brainbot. Devin picked up the smallest one in his chubby hand and shook it, letting out a pleased sound when something in there rattled. Finally Harrison got to the card and opened it with a flourish. A bemused smile spread across his face and he penned a response on a thick creamy notecard bearing his monogram across the top: “Thank you so much for the lovely fish. They are as unique and intriguing as the man who created them. With eager gratitude, HDS”
Of course, this was a gift that would require reciprocation, and thankfully, Harrison had just the idea…..

It took a few days and quite a bit of money, but then again custom jewelry from European designers on a rush was always pricey. Harrison was also asking them to do something that had never been done before. The face was a blend of Swiss precision with a software of his own design. The strap could be nothing less than ostrich leather. Going to House of Garrard for the jewels and setting had been an extra touch, but no one else had that quantity and quality of baguette-cut black diamonds no to mention the princess cuts for the corners. And Harrison had to say, the end result was stunning:

The blue businessman had gotten exactly what he’d wanted, and so he written a note in silver pen on thick black paper to accompany it. It read simply, “For my most willing villain – HDS” and was tucked inside a simple black velvet box bound with a blue ribbon bow. He handed the box to 10097 and the little bot flew off with instructions to give this to Other Other Daddy.
Syx’s Bots were still struggling to understand the difference between their numbers and those made by other daddy’s. While some understood, others simply were curious or confused. It was an oversight in their design Syx was struggling to overcome as it was potentially a glaring security risk. As it was 10097 was escorted in after his package was scanned by two large security brain bots 798 and 672 while many of the older models swarmed around like happy puppies.
Syx picked up the package and gingerly opened it. A smile spreading across his face at the sight knowing who had sent it before even reading the note. Slipping the beautiful watch on his wrist he jumped up precariously on a stool and hung the note up in his idea cloud where it could swirl gently among his memories and thoughts.
