The fencing lesson had been going well, Syx was having more fun then he had in ages and this was far better then sparing with a brain bot. Emma however had a bad habit of using far too much strength for the thin blade, so when her lunge missed she punched Syx square in the jaw. His head snapped back as he staggered.
Syx laughed as he wrapped his arms around her, snuggling against her back. His hand wandering down to pet her tail were it curled around him, “I believe in you,” he kissed her neck, “If straight up doesn’t work, look around,” he nuzzled her, “Climb up on something or jump.”
‘Emma’ laughed, relaxing a bit at his assurance and confidence in her. Shifting about, working the spider around, she finally got it to the top of the roof. As soon as they were, her smile was almost radiant.
“I did it!” She exclaimed, laughing merrily
Grinning broadly Syx rubbed up against her, “Eeeeeeeexcellent,” he kissed her neck, “Now we fire the laser,” he wiggled his brow again and moved her hands to the weapons control, “First you pick a target,” he pointed at an empty cargo container in a nearby lot, “Select a setting,” the gun had de-hydreate, de-stroy, and de-coupage, “The aim and squeeze.”
