Syx closed his eyes, a tremble running through him. He’s been getting much more comfortable with being touched lately, his feline eared companion being a big part of the… but he still wasn’t sure how he felt about Harrison. Still it wasn’t unwelcome.

“Family are the ones I’ve chosen for myself,” he’d built quite the sprawling family over the years. The Blues, lead by his Uncles and Aunt. Faced with the question of blue skin though… did it change things? He wasn’t sure, “I haven’t decided yet were you fall.”

Though the very fact he was sitting in Harrison’s lap at all was telling that he’d made up his mind more then he was willing to admit. He was painfully aware of the man’s wandering hands. He’d have to retrain him again if he was anything but gentle.

“Well you take your time and think about it,” Harrison replied, keeping his voice even.  He felt that tremor and was willing to bet that like a lot of them, Syx had damn good reason to be cautious with handsy new strangers, no matter what their skin tone.  He returned his hand to rest once more against the other man’s lower back, careful to keep them away from more flirtatious territory.

“How about you tell me something about you?” Harrison suggested, trying deliberately to change the subject.  “I get the impression there is more to you than just fighting Metro Mah-n.”

With the book tossed aside on the couch beside them Syx settled his hands on Harrison’s shoulders. Slowly exploring his senses, noting the way the other blue alien smelled, felt, how he responded to him. With a gloved finger he traced the lines of Harrison’s neck.

“Fighting with Wayne is just a game,” he said bluntly, “It serves its purpose, many purposes, but ultimately it’s just a game. Of course everything is falling apart now… everything’s changing.”

Harrison let the other man explore, staying still except for a slight shiver that passed through him when Syx stroked his neck.  Damn, it was just unfair how well they knew each others erogenous zones even though turnabout was fair play.  Still, it was hard to resist taking one of those leather-covered fingers into his mouth to lick and suck it.  But he promised to be good.

“So is it frenemies with benefits with you two?  Or is it a secret relationship between nemeses?” Harrison asked, always curious to learn about relationships between blue men and their Waynes.

Syx blushed at how well the other man had guessed, throwing him off with barely a word. With a soft sound of frustration at feeling off kilter again, Syx slide his fingers into Harrison’s mouth and commanding, “Suck.”

The acts of dominance balancing him enough to talk about otherwise uncomfortable topics, “Secret affair,” he admitted, “That’s a very recent development though. It’s complicated,” everything was complicated when it came to his love life.
