The fencing lesson had been going well, Syx was having more fun then he had in ages and this was far better then sparing with a brain bot. Emma however had a bad habit of using far too much strength for the thin blade, so when her lunge missed she punched Syx square in the jaw. His head snapped back as he staggered.
The bot shifted under them as she moved the control, “The spider bot has a simple A.I. built in so it doesn’t require complete control, just direction,” he explained, it was how the bot could stay perfectly balanced and all four legs operate independently without it being a nightmare to pilot, “This one is direction, this speed, here is the jump and crouch,” he moved her hands over each in demonstration, “We aren’t going to touch the weapons yet though. We’d have to get outside first… but then…” he drawled out, lips close to her neck, “If you can drive us outside you can fire the laser.”
She shivered with a soft exhaled as she felt his breath on the skin of her neck, her train of thought derailing for a moment before she finally got it back. Purring a bit, she leaned back against his form, her tail curling around his leg as she grinned. “..Okay, lets hope I don’t break anything..”
She moved them forward, being as careful as she could manage.. and even then she had a couple close calls with some of this things where he had to help her.
Syx pointed out where to go, guiding her so she didn’t hit anything serious or dangerous. Finally exciting out into the back concrete lot, “If you really want to see what the Speiiider Bot can do,” he overdramatized, “Then you need to get it on the roof,” with a wicked grin he pulled out the safty harness for them with a waggle of his eyebrow.
