One oh his brainbots dropped down to him bowging, Megamind turned to it in confusion, “What? Let me see.”

Running through it’s video feed he saw the strange brainbots. Fuck him sideways, they looked like his, but he knew ever one of his bots. Frowning he waved #53 off to return to guard duty. Barking out, “You and you,” he pointed to #112 and #99, “Go scout and assess the situation.”

Tapping his watch he brought up Minion, “Code: things are weird.”

“Code: Sir that’s a very unhelpful description,” the watch chirped back.

When the female double appeared #112 and #99 circled her as the very loyal and dog like #53 who was noticeably more decorated then the others dropped near Syx’s shoulder with a confused bowg.

“What trickery is this?” Megamind murmured, green eyes going wide. His de-gun appearing in his hand in a flash and pointed at his female double, “Explain yourself impostor!”

As soon as Syx’s de-gun is drawn Megamind has her own trained on him in return, held in one hand tightly and set to de-hydrate as a matter of course. She isn’t taking any chances, and this particular version of herself’s reaction pushes away the last bits of doubt that they might not be new in the city.

“You’re sadly mistaken if you think I’m an imposter.” she retorts, equally bright green eyes watching Syx warily. “Considering you’re the one intruding, you explain first.” One of the Brainbots that accompanied her has it’s eye-stalk focused on him as well, the other keeping an eye on the unfamiliar ‘bots that are surrounding her.

Megamind looks irritated; the past year or more had been quiet, things having settled somewhat, and now everything looked to be starting again.

Megamind narrowed his eyes at the woman, his gun didn’t move from her, “Intruding? This is my territory!” his eyes slid across her nearly identical brain bots and de-gun, “How?” the confusion palpable in his voice, “This… has to do with the anomalies, doesn’t it?”

A deep frown set onto his face as he eyed his counterpart, “Who are you? You can’t possibly expect me to believe…” his face paled, “Please don’t be a clone. They can’t have been that stupid.”
